Heladería El Ancla — Restaurant in Madrid

We sat down at around 20:15 and it took a long while before somebody came at our table. Then after we ordered, the waiter said that he was going to put all the food and drinks in plastic cups and plates because they were gonna close soon. If you are gonna close soon, then tell people before they sit down that they can't eat anymore!! We had to pay before the food came, everything in a rush. The food arrived.. my god. I don't know how they dare to serve that. We had 2 plastic(!) Little plates of overcooked pasta bolognesa which was completely tasteless. There was almost no meat in the sauce. And the pizza Carbonara was tasteless, soggy and just not good. The price for the little plastic plate of pasta was 9 euros, and the pizza was10 euros. Way too much for what we got.. then, my friend found a big piece of plastic in her pasta. We let the waiter know that there was plastic in it and he reacted very irritated like he didn't have time for it, not even an apology for the big plastic in the food. He was totally rude. They brought us another plate of pasta but we did not eat it cause it was just bad.. So if you are not able to serve the people proper food and give them the time to eat cause you are closing soon, tell the people!!! We did not know that they were gonna close until after we ordered. Definitely not gonna come here again. There was one older man who came to apologise for everything, he was really nice. Everything else was just..... not good..... and...

On our short trip in Spain, we only had one day in Madrid - our last day, as we were flying out of the local airport. We had little time to eat lunch due to our flight, so we rushed to the closest place - well, second closest, but next door had a rating of 2.2... We were going to order 3 pizzas, but they didn't have one type that we wanted, so my friend decided on patatas bravas instead. There ended up being some confusion somewhere with the order and it seemed that we never actually ordered the second pizza. The pizza was tasteless and reminded me of the school canteens in the homeland. The patatas bravas was a bit better but was heavily held up by the selection of 4 sauces that came with it - the potatoes did not have much flavour otherwise. However, my friends did enjoy it. The atmosphere was definitely held up by it's location in every way - the lake provided a nice view. I would never recommend searching out this place just to eat, but if you need something fast, the food here is OK and not...

Waiters, instead of serving customers, move them to other tables - we chose a (free) table with a view of the pond, we were moved to the back with a view of the restaurant's refrigerators - because they supposedly wanted to have everyone in one place and not in different places (there were no heavy traffic) but ok if it would speed up the service. unfortunately, to exaggerate us, the waiter appeared right away but did not take the order - we waited 25 minutes and despite the fact that he saw us and said he would come right away, he did not. We finally left. The same thing happened to the other people at the tables next to it. I understand if there was a lot of traffic but there wasn't. the waiters gave the impression that they were only interested in the selected 4 tables which they constantly approached, the rest...
