Heladería Mamá Elba — Restaurant in Madrid

We were looking for a very good ice cream to try in Madrid. We chose Mama Elba Heladeria because there were different options as vegan, sugarless, etc ice cream. What we really liked is large choice of flavors. Also there is not only ice cream, but smoothies, cakes, etc. Another plus is that you are not limited to 2-3 flavors. If you choose a big cup/cone, you can choose either 3 big scoops or 4-5 small ones. What we really didn’t appreciate is that there is no restroom there. The answer of the seller was “we are more take away place”. Yes, I understand that. But you have a places to seat, so you have an eat-in area. In that case I think restroom is an obligation. Beautiful and delicious heladería with a friendly and helpful staff. You can ask to sample any flavor before you decide. There are a tons of flavors from fruits like Mango, Passionfruit, Mandarina, Melón, Açaí and others like Nutella, Ferrero, Oreo, Tiramisu and Yogurts. You can order the helados by itself with a Nutella Crepe or, with an unbelievable Tarta de Queso from Granada. No body will go wrong with any of these choices. Ah, you can take your flurry friend with you as long as it gets along with people and other pawfriends. They will give you chuches for your friend. Excellent ice creams. The flavours they serve aren't only clearly handcrafted, but also incredibly original and tasty. Many of the options are far from the classical ice cream flavours and make me really curious. I've tried some and they taste amazing. What I really like is that you don't have to stick to the regular super-sweet fruity or chocolatey flavours, but you get to choose among a really elaborate variety of delicate sweets, vegetables, spices and not so common fruits. Also, I've often taken some of these ice creams to share in parties and they're a total success. Finally, the workers in the shop are super nice and friendly.
