This place is a MUST if you like Peruvian style ceviche. I've had it all over the world and this was the best one yet. The balance of acidity and flavor was so well done. The staff was very kind and explained each dish as well as include an extra scallop in the appetizer so all five of us could have one (originally comes with four). The service was quick and friendly. They didn't rush you. The ceviches all had generous servings of fresh seafood (the squid one was SO tender and unexpectedly the best one). I loved that they had plates where you could mix and match chaufa and ceviche if you were stuck on deciding between the delicious two. The cocktails were yummy, and I'm not normally a fan of pisco sours but these were extremely well done. The price was also very very reasonable. In Miami, you would spend twice this amount. Then waited for 19 minutes in temps of over 30C for the waiter to think about bringing my sparkling water… not even a thought about taking my order! God only knows how long it would take to receive it ! I was so thirsty I got up and asked for it twice! It’s fine to open the kitchen when you want - but don’t leave customers waiting with nothing.
