IGO RAMEN EMBAJADORES — Restaurant in Madrid

After checking the website I was hesitant because the food photography isn’t great and doesn’t make the food look appealing, however after noticing the Filipino staff, we decided to give it a try.

I’m glad we did because the Pinoy wait staff were so sweet and nice. They helped us choose and order on the tablet.

The food is obviously catering to the more bland European palates BUT ask for more seasoning and sauces to create a more delicious dish.

We had the following: — Tonkotsu ajo negro ramen regular spicy - I asked for extra soy sauce to make it saltier and have a deeper flavor plus I added a little more chili oil. It was better looking and yummier than it looked online. The noodles were yummy Porkchop kaifan - I wish the sweetish sauce was sweeter and it would be great.

We bought for takeaway fried wontons - I think adding some veggies or coriander can make it not too meaty Shrimp tempura which my son inhaled

The decor of the restaurant is the interior design. Super kawaii!

The atmosphere was nice and themed even though it might've been a bit too much. The food and service when we were there however was dreadful.

We came in at opening and even though we were the only customers there it was quite hard to get to order as all of the personnel was standing by the kitchen talking.

The food was all premade and just put together in the restaurant. Frozen premade sides, horrible noodles and everything was severely undersalted. When we sent back dumplings, which also seemed to be premade frozen dumplings because they were steamed instead of fried they fried the already steamed dumplings and sent them out again.

After the meal the staff also repeatedly tried to get us to pay with cash because of their mistake at the till even though we wanted to pay with card. They also didn't give...

Fui invitada a una colaboración con este restaurante y, desde el principio, la comunicación fue muy amable. Me ofrecieron elegir el día entre lunes y jueves a las 20:00, y finalmente se confirmó la colaboración para el jueves en el local de Embajadores.

Viajé una hora y media para llegar y confirmé tanto la noche anterior como el mismo día de la colaboración. Al llegar con mi amiga, informamos que veníamos por la colaboración. El restaurante estaba prácticamente vacío, pero la encargada nos indicó que no tenía constancia de nuestra reserva. Llamó a su jefa y le mostré los mensajes donde se confirmaba claramente la fecha y hora acordadas.

Aun así, me dijeron que debía acudir el sábado a las 21:00. Expliqué que vivo fuera, que habíamos hecho un largo desplazamiento y que el restaurante no estaba lleno, por lo que sería razonable realizar la colaboración en ese momento. A pesar de ello, no fue posible.

Considero que esta situación demuestra una falta de organización y profesionalidad. Después de haber confirmado en varias ocasiones y realizado un desplazamiento considerable, esperaba un trato más serio...
