Best tortilla de patatas in town, no joke! We went here for breakfast because we wanted to try the bocadillo de tortilla, unfortunately they had some kitchen issue and didn't have bread so we took the normal tortilla, we ended up repeating because it was amazing, as a big fan of tortilla I can tell you the difference here is that they fry the potato in thin slices before adding it to the egg mix usually restaurants don't do this to save on ingredients and time, but here you can be sure they care about the great difference it makes, this makes the potato crunchier and tastier, it's amazing, if you arrive here, have a tortilla you won't regret it! Unfortunately I have to rate with 4 stars because one of the ladies from the staff attending the bar was extremely rude to her kitchen staff, we sat next to the kitchen entrance because the place was a bit full, she went in and started shouting and we heard how rude she was to them and that is something very important to us, even more after we had such amazing food, hope that attitude changes because we...

Nice food, nice wine, and the decor is really lovely. Unfortunately, the service was pretty bad. We asked for the sobrasada tortilla, then the waitress said "with or without onion" and we said with. Then the tortilla came without any sobrasada. What had obviously happened is the waitress had missheard us, and didn't hear the part where we wanted the sobrasada tortilla. That's fine, but when we realised it didn't have sobrasada, we said to the waitress that there had been a mistake, and she said "you wanted the tortilla with onion" and we said that we had specified the sobrasada tortilla, and thought that she was offering the sobrasada tortilla with/without onion. We explained to her that the only reason we ordered tortilla was to try with sobrasada - we would never have ordered a normal tortilla. But they refused to bring us a new tortilla. The mistake itself is not the problem, but the inflexibility and inability to own their mistake was annoying, particularly since we essentially had to eat something we never ordered and...

Fuimos con muchas expectativas y nos llevamos un chasco tremendo.

Al entrar nos dijeron hay una mesa al fondo y tomad, llevaos la carta. Me parece un exceso de confianza inesperada, pero bueno, nada reseñable si no fuera por lo que indico a continuación.

La cuestión es que la camarera nunca se paró por la mesa, aunque pasó muchas veces, ya que la última mesa está al lado del baño y la cocina (nada aconsejable). Tuve que levantarme a pedir donde me dijeron “toma la carta”, donde la camarera estaba charlando tranquilamente con el chico de la barra (tranquila, ya hago yo tu trabajo). Y cuando pedí las bebidas, una de ellas era un vaso de agua, y me dicen “sírvete tu misma”, señalando un vaso de chupito y una botella de agua de cristal. Le pido un vaso más grande y me dice que no tiene, aunque los estoy viendo. Bueno, paciencia, todo sea porque la comida estará muy buena…

Le pedimos la famosa tortilla y carbonara de setas y no tienen setas. Bueno, venga, le puede pasar a cualquiera.

Pedimos la famosa tortilla y ensaladilla rusa. Pues esta última muy buena y la tortilla… menudo chasco, saladísima!!! Tuvimos que pedir pan y levantarme muchísimas veces a por agua porque no había forma de comerla. Y para colmo, mi acompañante acabó con ardor.

Pensábamos pedir tarta de queso y café, pero al ver que no venían a atender, pensamos que lo mejor era irnos. El único acierto que tuvimos.

Lo siento, pero no volveremos. Todo un chasco, servicio fatal y comida regular.

Actualización 23/01/23: Tal y como me indicaron en respuesta a mi reseña, contacté con el Servicio de Atención al Cliente de La Martinuca para escuchar sus disculpas y su propuesta de compensación con una invitación en el establecimiento.

Hoy he disfrutado de esta invitación junto con un acompañante y he de decir que el servicio ha sido muy cuidado y atento, sin molestar, pero presente en todo momento. Me han invitado también al postre, tarta de zanahoria, que no probé en la ocasión anterior y he de decir que estaba delicioso. La ensaladilla me ha parecido tan exquisita como la última vez y la tortilla muy rica, para mi acompañante en su punto de sal, aunque yo sigo percibiéndola un poco salada, ¿será que acostumbro a comer poca sal? 🤨

Dicho esto, solo me cabe agradecer el gesto por parte de La Martinuca, respondiendo a mi reseña de manera inmejorable, en tiempo, forma y dedicación. Más establecimientos así, y la restauración de España tendría otro nivel.
