Revoltosa Plaza del Rey — Restaurant in Madrid

We had a deeply distressing experience at this restaurant. During our visit, my bag was stolen — it contained all my personal documents, including my passport, ID card, business phone, and company credit cards.

When we informed the staff and the police, their only concern appeared to be ensuring that we paid the bill, rather than helping us as victims of a theft. Neither the restaurant staff nor the police provided any useful assistance, guidance, or support regarding what to do after losing important travel documents abroad.

The complete lack of empathy and responsibility was shocking. We were left alone to figure things out, without any advice or direction — just expected to pay and leave.

I strongly advise other travelers to be extremely cautious in this area and in this restaurant. If something goes wrong, you may find yourself completely...

I've been here twice and didn't get any bad service from the waiters - they were kind and attentive. yes sometimes you have to call their attention to get an order in or get the check but many waiters in Spain are like this.

We celebrated the birthday of one the MBA friends, it is good place to be and have some drinks.

The food is good Spanish style, with some details. The service is well but you have to follow the rules of the place. We were 10 and the number increased to 13 so they were a little mad with us. It was uncomfortable for some time until they apologise.
