One of the great smash burger places you just simply can’t miss out on forreal.

I ordered their most simple cheese smash burger with a side of fries (Cajun I think?) and I’ve savored every single bite of this beautiful burger with its perfectly buttered bun, caramelized skirts and juicy center of the patty, and sinful melty cheese. If there is a word to describe this burger, it’s just “nom” or “ñam” in Spanish, if you will.

The speed of service is also wonderfully fast. I got seated within 5 minutes during dinner hour (21h here), someone took my order and the food was in my sight within 10 minutes. I’d have to say this is truly a “faster-than-McDonald’s-“ fast food experience. The traditional “fast food” is replaced by this kind of boutique fast food concept, and I absolutely love it. Chomped down the burger and fries in 10minutes, and left with a very happy tummy.

La Prensa excelled my expectations. A friend referred this place to me saying "its a good burger place". But for me was THE PLACE to eat burgers if you are in Madrid center.

Very cozy atmosphere! With young customers. Friendly wait staff who made my experience a delight; not only the wait staff was on point in every suggestion, but they made sure I enjoyed my burger(juicy meat I must say and a few layers of it) and kept me well taken care of.

The fries came on a generous basket! And the burger in no time was out, I was surprised to have my food on the table so fast, that kitchen personnel must have been so pleased to be working!

Quality and price was great!
