First of all how was it not busy when we were there?! From the first hello to the goodnight our visit here was so nice! And let me talk about the food because these dumplings and noodles are made with love and absolute care.
We had the shrimp dumplings, vegetables dumplings, the vegetables noodles together with the cucumber salad. Literally everything was immaculate, left me wondering why are they’re not in my city. The dumplings were filled up!! Super plump and delicious as they should with the most beautiful dumpling skin, so thin and beautifully crafted. The noodles, bouncy and delicious with beautiful flavors with the vegetables and the sauce. The cucumber salad reminded me of home. This meal was a home cooked meal, feeling home in another country.
AND THE SERVICE, MY GOD. The waiter was amazing!!! The son was so sweet and nice and made us feel at home.
Thank you we had an amazing time! Rooting for this lovely family owned...
Read moreWowee was MAMA DUMPLINGS soooo yummy! We had the boiled shrimp dumplings, fried veggie dumplings, vegetable crepe (jianbing), tonkatsu, jasmine tea, and shrimp noodles. The tea was the best tea I have ever had — delightful floral notes and just so delicious. All of the dishes were scrumptious, but our absolute favorite had to be the handmade shrimp noodles. They had a delicious chew to them, and a wonderful smoky flavor from the wok. Further, the service was excellent. We unfortunately didn’t catch the name of our server, but he was not only seamlessly transitioning between English 🇬🇧, mandarin 🇨🇳, and Spanish 🇪🇸, but also assured us that our friend with the nut allergy would be safe eating at the restaurant (ensuring there was no cross contamination with the hot sauce that had peanuts). If you want to be served by the king 🤴 of Spain (our server), come to MAMA DUMPLINGS. Overall, what a wonderful MAMA DUMPLING 🥟 experience in...

The host was very friendly and enthusiastic speaking bothEnglish and Spanish perfectly.
The food, however tasty, was more catered to Spanish / Western palate. Which based on the location makes perfect sense. This isn’t a critique; just letting anyone who is expecting stronger flavors, spice, depth that this might not be your spot.
It was straightforward, generic, palatable, non-descript “Chinese food”. The vegetable jian bing was very oily and lacking texture and taste. Just cabbage, onion, carrots and oil. And the beef noodles, while again, tasty, were smaller than expected and simply lacked any sort of distinctive flavors. The tonkatsu was very thin if you prefer it that way. And the Sichuan chicken wasn’t spicy at all 😔
The wan-tun soup was a hit!
They’re successful and full for a reason! Just...
