Honest review here.

I went here yesterday because I read of decent reviews. Place was dead and no one was here, first red flag. Only had one employee with an attitude, second red flag. There is no English menu which makes communications a bit difficult.

Ordered 3 items, photos below.

Fried calamari - worst I have eaten, tasted like straight off the freezer. Chewy in a bad way and bland.

Potato bravas - practically fries not even the normal type so it got soggy real quick

Fried chorizo - the only decent item but it sits in a pool of oil

I think we got ripped off now that I think about it. We ordered these three items with a small beer and come and the bill came out $44 Euros. If the food was good I probably wouldn’t even noticed we got ripped...

Good service, very helpful. Nice menu relatively inexpensive. Tostado del mar was delicious as was the homemade chicken broth soup called consomme. Went back second time and had delicious menu del día with dessert of natillas for me and puddin for my husband. They remembered us and did a great job explaining the menu. I do speak passable Spanish. They also made us hot chocolate not as good as in el centro but nice. This is a local place no tourists but us. It was an excellent experience. Imagina por un instante, que decides comerte wasabi a cucharadas ¿Te arde la boca, verdad? Asi estan las patatas bravas. Igual de buenas que de picantes. Las de alioli eran fuchina (basura) papas fritas con salsa alioli de bote. Aqui lo de hervir la patata y hacer el alioli no ha llegado. Los aritos de cebolla que te van poniendo aparte de estar buenísimos son un detallazo.

Ya hablando del servicio es un festival. Camareros sobrepasados y un lio que flipas. Lo mejor que tienen son todas las televisiones que tienen para ver el fútbol, si les quitaramos eso.. quedaría un bar mas ruinoso que rentable. Volveria a ir a ver el futbol solamente.
