Update on the previous review:
Previous review: Very broad mix of international dishes, safe for all preferences and allergies. Typically well prepared and quickly served. Prices are not cheap, but ok also given the location. Service is mostly speedy and responsive, once the order is in. At the same time it has taken a little while to get the server's attention and to get our order in was not a joyful process. Here large room for...
Read moreWe came here because we had read that this place also served vegetarian and vegan food. The restaurant has a modern, industrial look. There is a nice outside seating area, but we sat inside to escape the heat. The staff spoke English and they also had English menus. The food and drinks didn't take too long, which was great, because when we came in, it started to get a little busy.
I had the grilled vegetables with the romesco sauce (verduras a la plancha). It was beautifully plated and even though it didn't look like that much food, it was definitely enough for me. I especially liked the mushrooms, bell pepper and onion. The flakey salt on top added a delicious crunch and saltiness. The romesco sauce had great flavor, but the aftertaste was really spicy for me, so I didn't eat much of that. The vegetables luckily didn't need the sauce and still tasted good. The homemade lemonade was pretty good, but more sour than sweet. I personally enjoyed this, but if you prefer sweet drinks, be mindful of this.
The food wasn't very expensive, depending on what you order. We spent roughly €15-20 per person on our dinner (main meal and drinks). Overall, great place, I would definitely come back when I'm in...
Read moreI used to frequent Lemucca Serrano last year, but my recent experience at the restaurant was disappointing to say the least. The waitress who served us was incredibly rude from the outset, which was a big turn-off. To make matters worse, the chicken wings we ordered were red in color and possibly contaminated with salmonella. We only realized this after eating a few wings and feeling unwell later on. When we brought this to the attention of the manager, he was dismissive and simply said "chicken in Spain doesn't have salmonella" - which was a shocking response to say the least.
To add to our woes, the chicken burgers we ordered were all raw and the steak contained an excessive amount of salt. The food was simply inedible and we couldn't finish any of our dishes. All in all, it was an unpleasant dining experience and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Given the poor quality of the food and the terrible service we received, I would recommend looking elsewhere for a dining experience that is both enjoyable and safe. There are plenty of other options available that offer better food and customer service, so I would suggest steering clear of...
