Feel at home food, fast and efficient service, great food quality. Not the type of place you would just go find, but I found myself doing some business in the area and the reviews were spot on. I'm glad I chose this one, they treat you like you are family, they don't speak English and the menus are in Spanish only, but is very easy to understand what you are getting, in any case go with somebody that can handle Spanish. We got a small pepper salad, artichoke hearts with jamón, the massive white asparagus with home made mayo, and the beef fried fillet, that came with a Swiss cheese sauce we couldn't stop dipping our endless bread on. Amazing homemade food, the daily menu has healthy ingredients and they are always happy to accommodate to dietary requirements. Merche’s cooking is undoubtedly one of the best in Madrid. Servings are big, we usually cannot finish our dishes.

Primera vez, que no la última, que entraré en este establecimiento. Entre los distintos platos del menú del día, me inclino por el cocido. La sopa de fideos cabellín a las 15:30 inefable, deliciosa, en su punto y caliente sin soplar. Habré tenido suerte me dije. El segundo, suficiente. No me ofende porque voy a pagar 10.50€, no 50.10€, que sería otra cosa. No me olvido el pan, muy bien la barrita. De postre, tarta de manzana casera con helado de vainilla. Bastante bien, nada dulzona y agradable el contraste. Pido después un descafeinado y me informan, más bien me advierten, que habrá de ser de sobre porque no disponen de cafetera exprés de bomba. A cambio me ofrecen un café normal, hecho en otra del tipo moka, la de toda la vida, de dos cuerpos que se enroscan. Hacía siglos que no tomaba un café con leche hecho así y para mi gusto, el mejor.
