Great service and good food at very reasonable price in a charming space with references to its name Visited here for lunch with my wife on a Saturday afternoon. We sat inside as it was hot, but there's covered seating outside too. It wasn't super busy, but still had several tables with people. The interior is beautiful - as it's clearly in an older, repurposed building but with tiles and well complimented decor and figures. Service was quick and very friendly throughout.
As we kept it simple, we just ordered some refreshments and a plate for each of us. I enjoyed my Bocadillo with Fried Squid, as it was well prepared yet simple. My wife got fries and added ham to it. It was a solid compliment, but drenched with cheese sauce and mayonnaise. When we were finished we given some complimentary port and crackers as a way to unwind and reset the palette.
Definitely recommend stopping here, and I am excited to come during the weekdays to try the...
Read moreI wish I could give this restaurant less than one star. It tastes the way torture feels. I ordered four items off of the menu, all of which I wished I could have returned... and I still have a lasting taste of the soggy, extremely salty tasca salad after an hour. I came in with high hopes from the nice atmosphere, but this was just a front. As I took that first bite my disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined. Extremely shocking and unbelievable how the food could be so vile and so passionless. The waiter acted like this experience has happened a lot, and apologized for the salad a multitude of times.
