TOTALE Ristorante — Restaurant in Madrid

Here is what happened. I went to have lunch at this place. Ambience and atmosphere were really nice. However the place was empty.

We were offered a two person table just in front the entrance. We asked the waitress for a round table in a corner, I know it was a 4 person table, but since the restaurant was empty, I thought we might have a quick and nice lunch. But the girl who was trying to taking care of us offered us another table, also for 4 people, we asked her a second time for the round table (Again, the restaurants was empty) but she refused because it was for 4 people.

I asked my wife to walk away and look for another place, which we did. I left the place a little confused, I still don't understand why, if a customer ask you for something, instead of pleasing the people who came to spend their money at your place, you try to force them to sit down where they didn’t want to sit down. Especially if you have the place empty.

You can't go as a cafe, because in my opinion, a cafe should also have cake, fresh cake, but as a restaurant, the environment was good. There is a problem and that is that because the street is where it is and it is sloping, you feel it a lot in the shop, and those who care about the smoothness of the ground are very annoyed. I ordered from Glovo. I was very excited but that quickly turned to disappointment. The pizza dough is amazing BUT This was not edible. The pizza tasted like Nothing but cheese we had to remove the cheese, which didn’t change much, it was still a huge disappointment. I couldnt taste the tomato sauce or bread. I used to work at an italian pizzaria, so I know what a pizza is supposed to taste like. Their bread is amazing, but its hard to taste through the crazy amount of cheese. The pasta was disgusting.
