Vira Vira. The Gyro’s - Street Food — Restaurant in Madrid

it may not look like it from the photo, but this was the BEST gyro plate ive ever had in my life. It is definitely different as it feels more modern and elevated than what I am used to at smaller corner stores... but this was AMAZING. I took a long train ride to Madrid and was starving for something fresh and not too heavy, filled with veggies. The flavors of everything were bright and delicious. Vegetables were fresh and crispy, yogurt sauce was so delicious. I asked for every single topping and they did not disappoint. Huge portions, I am able to stretch it to another meal. The person making my meal had the personality of everyone's favorite uncle: funny and kind, quick with the food, and thoughtful with presentation and portion. I also love that they put the salad on the side so it doesnt get soggy on the warm food. This was so amazing. I cannot recommend it enough!! ...

Vulnerable post.…. I took the leap of faith. I moved next door to my lover of only 4 months. It was a risk. You never know when you get into these types of relationships.… will the love dry up in the face of commitment? Will it become too familiar to my senses? Worse, will they hurt me like all the others?

I'm so lucky to say Vira Vira The Gyro's - Steet Food and I's love has only strengthened since I moved next door.

Absolutely sickening treatment of customers. I eat here ALL the time. Ordered on Uber and was delivered two chicken lavish gyro without the chicken. Just veggies and feta. I filed a claim with Uber for a refund, but also, out of courtesy called the location to let them know. They told me it was impossible and then hung up on me while I was speaking.

Rude. I will NEVER order again from here-not on Uber and not in the local either. Please treat your customers with respect. It’s a real shame, I’ve gotten to know the owner over the past few years and he is lovely…I hope he is aware now of the staff he has.
