This place can be hit or miss. I like that it has vegan options (not all vegan) and always has vegan tapas (that come with your drink, but only if you order something else to eat). However the arepas were just ok, the salmorejo is watery, and the pizzas were definitely not what I would call pizza (comes on a chapata bread). The tortilla is ok, it comes with tomato sauce and isn't the best. The croquetas are great though, as is the avocado chocolate cake. I definitely recommend the cake as the croquetas are a bit pricey compared to other places (6 for €9.30). Also the OVNIS (little empanadas) were really overpriced for what you got, which was a tiny disk with barely any filling for 2 euros.
Also, there is a surcharge for sitting at the tables, which aren't even outside - not a fan of that.
Overall, not a bad option if you are in the area but nothing to write home about. They could definitely do with updating their menu to reflect...
Read moreJust had a great experience here! One of the main things I have missed since going vegan is tortilla de patata and the vegan one you can buy in supermarkets isn't great to be honest. I was so happy to stumble across this place and see so many vegan options, even more so to see a chapata with vegan tortilla and salmorejo. The service was amazing. My waiter was super nice and attentive and the sandwich was SO GOOD. I honestly haven't enjoyed a meal that much in so long. The waiter even offered me vegan mayonnaise to have with it. Price was excellent. Will hopefully be back soon :D Also, just another nice note, a man came in trying to sell things to customers and instead of point blank telling him to leave, the waiter offered him a glass of water and spoke to him. Wish more establishments would do this too! There is a way to turn people like this away...
Read moreI cannot express my disappointment enough. I ordered chicken arepas and what I got was a pan fried chicken fillet on top of an arepa. The filete was no marinated nor did it have any kind of spices. Maybe if you've never eaten chicken it would appeal to you, but to me this was the plainest and most disappointing presentation of chicken I've ever seen. What I actually expected from this dish was chopped up and spiced chicken. I will also add the prices were ridiculously high for the quality of the food. My friend was also very disappointed with his tuna sandwich which cost 7.50 and was really just some canned tuna slapped on some lettuce and tomato on top of a chapata, sandwich bread. At the very least there was no fuss and I was not asked to pay for my panned fried slice of...
