Edit 2: A negative review shouldn't be accused of being a fake one, how absurd. Why? Because it's impossible for you to have made a mistake? What an ego!! I guess it's not surprising that you've removed the part from your response where you mentioned "BTW, 3 reviews out of 2500 is a mere 0.0001%." But I have a screenshot of your original response, along with evidence of my purchase. If you're unwilling to accept that your customers have gotten sick, and seemingly all in recent months, due to your ego, it's evident that you're not emotionally equipped to ensure safety, which would require putting it aside in order to make the necessary changes to protect your customers. Your refusal to listen implies an inability to responsibly cater to the public and I'm sure nothing will change and people will just keep getting sick from your food. Maybe a report to the health department is the best way to go.
Edit: I sent you an email with proof of purchase but I hope that anyone reading this review understands that it is not a good sign at all that a restaurant would not reply with alarm to a report of food poisoning but rather a snarky comment about how " BTW 3 reviews over 2500 is a 0,0001%" which leads me to believe they care less about the health and safety of their customers and more about their own hurt ego. I am a business owner, and if I were to receive 3 complaints of this nature, totalling more than 5-6 sick customers, I would not be blowing it off.
There seems to be a few reviews here about food poisoning so I wanted to add my experience. My husband and I came to this restaurant, somewhere we have been many times before, after a movie. We commented that the fries seemed a little lukewarm and not fresh and we regret not listening to our initial thoughts. We have been held up in our apartment for the last day and a half puking our guts out from obvious food poisoning. It was the last thing we ate before this started happening the following morning. They should be way more careful about handling their food and make sure things aren't sitting out for a long time before serving it to customers. We really liked this place and were regulars but we won't be back and caution others...
Read moreMy husband and 4 year old son have become violently ill (throwing up everywhere, multiple times) starting about three hours after our meal. Currently waiting to see if it’ll hit myself or my three other children. The place was absolutely filthy. When we requested additional plates for serving our kids, the waiter literally had to remove one of the plates he had just set down because even he noticed it was a DIRTY plate. My husband also saw a bunch of meat hanging out by the grill behind the counter and maybe it was being left out too long, especially since it was such a hot day. The restaurant itself was very dirty and smelly and we should have walked out before the food arrived! We are not sure if it was the food or the plates or both but we are so disappointed because we love Greek food but this was so disgusting. The food did not taste good. The baklava tasted like literal dirt. The meat was scary looking. I just can’t believe how terrible and it is not fair that a child has gotten so...
Read moreThis souvlakeria in Lavapies aims to out-fancy other local kebab places, both with it's interior and quality of the food and it definitely exceeds in both. Souvlakis are affordable (~€3.50), although not the most filling. They could benefit of the addition of chips inside, as found in Greece. When you call your place a Greek souvlakeria, this doesn't seem too much to ask. However, both pork and chicken varieties were very tasty and pita was great. After one souv each and shared chips with feta cheese, we were still hungry and started thinking about ordering one of the raciones (€8,-) consisting of 3 brochetas (meat on a stick), pita and chips. However, as we were met with a stern 'no' when asking if we could have 2 pork and 1 chicken brocheta, we decided to go for postres elsewhere. Probably...
