Chiringuito Basilio Beach — Restaurant in Marbella

We ate here when on our recent holiday to Marbella and it was wonderful. We were given a voucher on the main promenade by someone promoting the restaurant. This gave us a free glass of sangria. The restaurant itself is right on the beach so it’s a lovely setting and perfect if you go at sunset. Myself and my Mum had the barbecued Seabass which was so delicious. The staff kindly removed the bones for us. You can see the fish being cooked too which is a nice feature! It was flavoured to perfection and it tasted so fresh. It came with a small portion of vegetables and potatoes. However, it was a lot more filling than it appeared. The waiters were friendly and the surroundings made us want to sit there for hours. Went here for an early lunch, and even though we arrived before opening, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food and drinks are amazing and everything for a resonable price. Choosing a fish can be daunting, thankfully the staff help us choose the right fish at the right size for us. We ended up order a red snapper and it came with a large side of vegetables and Spanish style potatoes. Everything was delicious! We also order Marinera Mussels and they were an amazing companion to our fish. Sangria and Tinto de Verano, traditional Spanish drinks, were delicious! An amazing experience ! We had the paella pesquera for two, and it was absolutely delicious – honestly, the best paella I’ve ever had. We also started with some grilled sardines over charcoal, and they were incredible – full of flavor and perfectly cooked.

The service was wonderful – everyone was kind, smiling, and very attentive. We truly felt welcomed and well taken care of from start to finish. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable culinary experience in Marbella. Big thanks to the...
