Chiringuito La Ola Marbella — Restaurant in Marbella

On the beach terrace, just below the beach promenade. A little tricky to find it. There were tables on the terrasse and on the beach. We were walking past some restaurants the are eager to get you in. At La Ola the young gentleman was nice and gentle and answered many questions about the dishes. Slightly more English language skills would have help. Service throughout was gentle and polite. But as were are in Spain it is fine. The dishes were delicious and we ordered both fried and grilled variants. Grilled variant was cool as it was prepared on open fire in front of our eyes. Also a digestive drink was offered. Prices were fairly cheap, although tap water cost. And the white bread was charged to us even if we didn't eat it. All in all nice Friday...

After 2 plus weeks in Spain, we had a couple of hours in Marbella before driving to the airport to return home. The experience from making reservation and being received at the restaurant by the owner Belen was great. We felt very welcome. We ordered sardines, Peppers and garlic/herbed infused clams. Chiringuito La Ola in Marbella is a fantastic seafood spot right by the sea. The grilled bream was incredible—perfectly grilled and bursting with flavour. The oysters were also a highlight, fresh and delicious. The customer service was excellent, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home.
