Dear guests please ALWAYS ask for the price of the recommended fish . We knew what we wanted to order on the menu but then the waiter pushed us to buy the “fish of the day” . We have been living in Marbella for over 2 years now and we are always so nice to everyone that welcomes us . A lot of the time we order fish and it is around €35. So we agreed we wanted to try the fish . Disclaimer we work so bloody hard for our money and don’t earn a lot and decided for one day just to have a nice lunch. We ordered two glasses of wine in which he only poured a tiny bit in (not even to the width of the glass)Then Lastly had our fish and checked the bill... The Manager charged us 90 EUROS for ONE fish we had . The worst part was that with every restaurant they have to put the weight of the fish onto the receipt in which the manager did not. MONEY MAKING scam !! Just because we didn’t speak fluent Spanish . I’m absolutely disgusted by this !! By jaw dropped when I saw the bill. Then the waiters decided to give the couple infront of us “complimentary” shots. But not us ?? After spending such money? Be careful what your order !! They make up their OWN prices if they think your a tourist . DISGUSTED by this restaurant!! DO NOT go here . I recommend going to La...
Read moreThe place looks a little dated but we took the chance here and were pleasantly surprised. The man who looked like the owner was very welcoming and perhaps trying to sell us a table very hard but was always polite and not assuming he got us until we said we'll take a table for 2. Service was exceptionally fast and there were about 3 other tables being served at the same time. They do charge you for the olives, bread and butter like most places but was very obviously freshly baked and still warm so this makes up for the assumption you want to pay for it when other places will serve you yesterday's leftovers. We got 1 starter - grilled prawnw and sardines which was delicious and enough for 2. We then got mixed paella which arrived half way through the starters. A bit early but it's in a cast iron pan so stays hot for long. My wife tends to not be a huge fan of seafood or paella but this was the first time she was scraping the bottom of the pan to finish it up. Perfectly seasoned. Perfectly cooked. Probably best paella I had in my 3 previous trips to Marbella. Barely over 50eu for starter, 2x main courses, Spanish lager, bottled water is what I call a bargain in 2022. We got 11 days left here and we'll be back before...
Read moreAbsolutely loved everything we ordered here. From start to finish the experience was amazing. We had the king prawns, grilled lobster, seafood pasta, tuna salad, sardines, calamari, fried anchovies and the black paella and every single dish was delicious. You could really taste how fresh everything was and the flavours were just spot on. The black paella especially stood out for me, rich and full of flavour without being too heavy. The grilled lobster was cooked perfectly and the king prawns were juicy and sweet. Even the salads were fresh and well balanced which made the whole meal feel light but satisfying.
What made it even better was the service. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, always smiling and making sure we were comfortable without being too much. It felt like they actually cared and wanted us to have a great time which made a huge difference.
The location is beautiful too, right by the beach with a lovely breeze and peaceful setting. It’s one of those places where you lose track of time because you’re so relaxed and enjoying every bite. Honestly one of the best meals we’ve had in Marbella. We’ll definitely be...
