De Juan Marbella Gastrobar — Restaurant in Marbella

I’ve been attending this wonderful place since it opened a couple of years ago. Obviously I was to lazy to leave a review so far. That changed tonight. Out of my experience of living in Marbella for many years I have to state this bar/restaurant is a real gem in this town, and that applies for all categories: Ambience and architecture, very creative menu offering excellent food and selection of beverage and a lovely, professional service by the complete staff. Really great place to eat, just off the centre of Marbella very close to the port de Juan is situated on the corner of the new building. The decor and the layout is absolutely fantastic really nice design lots of seating out on the streets. It seems to be very busy. The food looks very nice and we tried some wine which is really very nice.

The staff were very welcoming and very happy. They had great service spoke English and Spanish, very good service 100%...

La calidad del producto y el trato del mismo impresionante. Muy buena calidad y muy sabroso. El pero y de ahí que baje la puntuación es que avisé en 4 ocasiones que no podía tomar nada de leche y me pusieron varios platos que llevaban mantequilla y leche. Avisé nada más sentarme y pedimos. Cuando trajeron la ensaladilla pregunté por si contenía leche y lo preguntaron a cocina y no traia, luego trajeron el dúo de sardinas tuve que preguntar por lo que había en la base...era mantequilla, volví a decir que no podía tomar leche. Y así más veces. Cuando trajeron el pulpo y tras 4 veces de recordar el problema con la leche, dimos por supuesto que la patata estaba sólo "aplastada" pero nada más lejos de la realidad. La probamos y nos pareció que no era así, preguntamos y no sólo tenía mantequilla si no también leche... acabé en el baño vomitando. La comida se me estropeó. Se disculparon pero nada más y les dije que lo habia avisado 4 veces, que qué mas necesitaban. "Sólo" tengo intolerancia pero llega a ser...
