Chicken Jalfrezi, Prawn Curry, Chicken Biryani and Mixed Grill. We discovered a number of Indian restaurants in Marbella but we settled for the Indian Beach. The aura surrounding the restaurant projected positivity and vibrancy which captured us, me mainly, and we took full advantage of the beautiful sun and seating outside, under the canopy. I ordered the Jalfrezi with Rice and obviously I tried a bit of the other dishes (but dare I share mine with anyone?!Not sharing type.) All of the above dishes tasted absolutely epic with all the spices and tender pieces meat and prawn were absolutely luscious. After missing home cooked food for a few days, this just what we needed; simply comforting. . 💰The meal was for four including appetisers, starters, mains and beverages which came to about £75 (which wasn’t too bad and well worth it!! ) . 🎭I must commend the staff for changing the plates from appetisers through to the mains efficienty. The owner was friendly and attentive. . 🛋We sat outside and indulged amidst the sun; the temperature was about 25°c which was perfect! . 📋 Food Standards Agency hygiene: 🔰FSA does not cover...
Read moreBeen ordering here for many years. This restaurant I suspect has changed its chef a while ago. It has gone from 5 star to 1 star. We ordered a takeout to give it a second chance tonight but never again after tonight. The chicken tikka had not been marinated in tandoori spices nor overnight. The tikka masala and the chicken madras was watery and completely lacking flavor and substance, it was like carrot purée watery and spice less. The rice ordered was pilau and keema and was both white rice only with a few bits of meet in the keema rice. Onion bhaji was thin, undercooked and soggy. Very disappointing. We used to order chicken byriani and twice it was missing the curry sauce as advertised on the menu, when we called to complain the owner said “best we didn’t order again because he couldn’t guarantee the chef would include the...
Read moreWe enjoy Indian food and as we were passing just stopped on a whim. The owner is a really friendly guy with a good sense of humour too. The naan bread is different to what im used to in the UK but thats not to say it isn't enjoyable. We had a bit of banter about the naan that I suggested was a cheat naan and wasn't cooked in a traditional tandoor oven, with some back and forth banter he took me into the kitchen to see the chefs cooking the naan in a tandoor.. We had a laugh but more importantly the meal (Chicken Madras with pilau rice and keema naan for me and vegetable biriani for my wife) was maybe the best we've tasted, the portions are on the large side too. Definitely going back and looking...
