A Pleasant Evening of Traditional Chinese Cuisine in a Lovely Setting
Although we had the location marked on Google Maps, we found the restaurant a little tricky to locate upon arrival. Access required passing through a security gate and descending quite a few stairs, which proved challenging for my wife due to her hip condition. I do hope there is an alternative entrance available, and that perhaps we simply missed a more accessible route.
Once we arrived, however, we were greeted by a beautiful setting next to one of the pools within Puente Romano. Guests have the option to dine either on the terrace or inside. As it had been a particularly hot day with temperatures in the low 30s, we chose to sit indoors and enjoy the air conditioning.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely polite and attentive, quickly guiding us to our table and presenting us with both the food and cocktail menus. We started our evening with a couple of cocktails—an espresso martini and a mojito—both of which were expertly crafted and set a lovely tone for the evening.
For starters, we selected the soft-shell salt and pepper crab, dim sum, and duck spring rolls, all of which were very enjoyable. Our main courses included steamed sea bass with ginger and pak choi, chicken curry with rice, and sizzling lamb. Each dish was well-prepared, flavourful, and served at just the right temperature.

In conclusion, if you enjoy well-cooked traditional Chinese food served in an elegant setting with friendly, efficient service, this restaurant could be an excellent choice. It’s worth noting that we dined at the very start of the evening service, so I can’t speak to how the experience might differ during peak times. However, based on our visit, we had a very...
