Belin Restaurante vistamar Playa de Mogan — Restaurant in Mogán

We wanted to eat at this place yesterday. A colleague of the restaurant outside offered us a mixed seafood plate for 2 people.We took a limited amount of money with us because we wanted to swim at the beach and there was no locker at the beach.When we entered the restaurant and placed our order, we asked again to be sure if this plate was for 2 people and the person , who took our order said yes.After 1 minute, because we felt that something was not right and to make sure ,I asked the collegue that offered us the mixed seafood plate for 2 people, if the person, who took the order recorded 1 plate for 2 people in his order? surprisingly, we found out that even though we were 2 people, the person,who took our order had registered 2 seafood plates for 2 people as our order and they told us that here you should order at least 1 plate for each person!!??In Menu was written , that this Mix seafood plate is for 2 people.Exactly after 1 minute they told us that it is too late and we have started cooking both dishes and you have to order both plates.I explained him that your colleague outside offered us this plate and told us this plate is enough for both of us and it is written exactly in the menu that this plate is for 2 people.But the person who took the order said that I am the boss here and it is not possible to cancel one of the plates because they have started cooking and furthermore each person must order at least one plate.At first, by taking the order, the person , who took the order pretended that he can not understand English well, but later and after taking the order, he understood and spoke English well.These people are completely fraudulent and I do not recommend this restaurant at all because their are completely rude...

Food was bland and service was poor. When we sat down (8:30pm) we were given the menus. 5 mins later the waiter asked what we wanted to drink and eat. I ordered a bottle of wine and said I wanted 10mins to have a glass then order food. Roughly 2 mins later he wanted to take our food order, so again I said can you give us 5 minutes... 8:45ish When he came back we ordered the food. I topped myself and wife's wine glass up and after a sip a waiter takes the bottle tops our glasses up again. I said to my wife I felt like there was a rush to get everyone to eat and drink up as quick as possible. Food comes and again the wine bottle is being poured into our glasses which only had a few sips out of them from the previous top up. The food/steak was bland and the veg was sloppy. Whilst eating the food the waiters begin clearing away tables behind us (9:30), which added to the feeling of getting everyone out. Then another waiter comes over to again pour the wine at this point I politely said no thank you. I did consider ordering dessert just for fun but by this point they were bringing in tables etc (9:50). Feeling the pressure to drink our wine we finished and before I could ask for the bill it was on our table...10pm. I was originally hoping to have a couple of bottles of wine, desserts and coffees etc but the poor service and bland food stopped me. I have been in Puerto Mogan for nearly 2 weeks and eaten out every night. This place is at the bottom of my ratings. My advice, choose...

We had lunch today for the first time at Belin Restaurant in Puerto de Mogán, and we were absolutely blown away by the attention to detail and how friendly and attentive the staff were throughout. Alex was our server and he truly went above and beyond – nothing was too much trouble. For starters, we shared the ham and cheese board and the crispy deep-fried cheese bites with blackberry jam – both were delicious and beautifully presented. For mains, my partner and his dad had the Chateaubriand steak, which was perfectly cooked and served with a hot plate so you can finish it to your liking at the table – a really nice touch. Meanwhile, my partner’s mum and I went for the lobster pasta, which also included mussels, clams, and prawns, all served in a beautifully light creamy tomato sauce. It was rich in flavour without being too heavy – absolutely perfect. The wine selection was excellent – there’s something to suit every taste. The location is unbeatable, right on the beachfront with a stunning view of the sea. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant if you're visiting the area. We’ll definitely...
