The service has been quite pleasing and friendly and I have to give it to them but that stops there. In the beginning we felt forced to order with a waiter coming 3 times and not leaving the space that we did ask for in order to decide. The garlic prawns starter were not cleaned and they were swimming in oil that quickly layered a gel on top, that did not look inviting. The octopus el galicia starter was really chewy and not really having the flavor of the octopus but more the paprika powder that was covered in. The potatoes that came together were also not interesting. Moving to the paella as a main dish we had again a great serve to be honest but I don't understand why we were served two pieces of closed shellfish. The shrimps were again not cleaned in the paella with even more dirt than the starter prawns. The rice composition in the dish leaned more towards a risotto than a paella. Needles to say that I couldn't enjoy any of the dishes we received. Maybe this mentality of "we have a steady stream of tourists coming and going" has to stop and places like this will start to change. Finally maybe the combination of passing through the kitchens pass together with the chefs and waiters to enter a not clean toilet doesn't prepare for a...

Staff is very friendly but very performative they call/lurk people in and then trick people. We got ripped off price wise. Small simple dorado fish costed us €90 for 2 people as chefs special. I’ve travelled a lot but never have I paid so much for simple dorado. Chef and other staff tricked us didn’t tell us the price nor what fish he will be cooking promised it will be good. There were no price on the menu but other fish prices were in range of €19 which what we expected. It was my pre birthday dinner and other staff member promised 10% off. However, he charged us €35 per person plus two smoothie drinks. No discount! In London same fresh dorado in any local corner fish shop for £10 you can get 5 dorado’s. I feel completely ripped off. Will never ever go back. And will tell all my mates to avoid this place like plague! Please avoid at all costs unless you want to be also ripped off! Would give 0 stars if I could. Ruined my mood. Prices are a bad joke! Left bad after taste… and ruined my impression of this island. Bad people. All they care about is money. And how much they can...

Nice location. Food ok. Staff presented well…. BUT…

This place has one objective, to make as much money out of you while you are there, and they make it so obvious. The waiting staff swarm your table like flies to the point of extreme annoyance. You just cannot relax and enjoy your time. As soon as the children finish a drink, they approach them and ask them directly do they want more… not the parents. Waiting staff are not allocated areas or tables so it is a free for all, so you get 2 or 3 times the specials of the day (without price). Same again for drinks, dessert etc.

It is busy because of their location at the start of the playa and they have pushy staff on the street to drag you in.

Overall it felt like being in a cattle mart, none of us enjoyed it. I would...

A friendly host originating from Cuba (thanks again!) has lured us in with a special offer of seafood paella with a bottle of Sangria - 24€ for two people - which sounded like a good deal... and it indeed was! The paella was better than the more expensive one we've previously had in Las Palmas, and we also got an aperitif, as well as digestif. Of course, we expected a higher bill but it was indeed 24€ sharp, even with IGIC (VAT) included. Apart from that, the staff was very professional and entertaining. Definitely recommended!

We've had some very good experiences with this restaurant. Although it's not on their menu, they were more than happy to makes us a Cordon Blue which had more than enough ham and cheese in it. The steak was cooked to perfection. The mushroom sauce was underwhelming though. Especially for the price you pay. The deserts were very tasty and of a decent size. The location is very attractive. To top it off, the waiters are very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
