When we were looking for a place to eat, the waiter (as it turned out the owner, one of the companions) sayed us that his the establishment with exclusively Spanish cuisine.
In fact, you won't find all five of the most popular Spanish dishes on the menu, but there are Spanish dishes on it. The menu is not overloaded in quantity and the assortment is similar to other establishments, but the presentation, service (I will say more participation) are at a very good level!
The restaurant was opened, according to the owner, 11 months ago. They work for reviews - and they really succeed! It is run by two friends: an older one, who represented the restaurant to us from the very beginning, and a younger one, the sommelier. In addition to the cooks, there are only 3 serving staff, but they cope at the highest level! Moreover, only the owner and sommelier (owners) serve the dishes, and the girl rather plays the role of an administrator, keeps order and tries to maintain the atmosphere. They always smile, make a pleasant impression, are polite and helpful: it is clear from them that this is their favorite pastime, not work!
The start was made with two glasses of champagne. It took us a long time to decide on our choice, since all the dishes were unfamiliar to us; the owner came to the table many times at our request and answered all our questions. Never showed that he was tired of us or don't happy of us. He was always polite and with a smile.
The menu does not include the entire range. There are dishes that the owner offers separately. In our case, Gazpacho soup according to our own recipe and warm sushi rolls.
We ordered the starter dishes: Stuffed smoked salmon and octopus with canarian potatoes. The salmon was very tasty and tender, I liked the presentation of the octopus dish, the potatoes in it were just right, but I can’t say that this is my dish. Since this was my first time eating it, I have nothing to compare it to, but the meat was like dense chewing gum. The fact that I personally did not like the dish did not spoil the impression of the evening! The drinks we chose were El Reboso Blanco Afrutado and Alaya Tierra. Seeing my doubt, the sommelier gave me a 10% discount on the last wine. We really liked both wines.
We wanted to order only by the glass, but we used the word (bokal), and apparently they understood that we were ordering a “bottle”😃😃😃
The second courses were: Kabeljau al Ajorriro (white fish in green sauce) and Secreto Iberico. The fish turned out to be too salty for my wife, so we were offered to replace the dish or refuse to pay for it. We refused to pay. The meat was simply excellent! We liked the fact that the dishes are served with a small amount of side dish and you get full pleasure from the dish!
While we were talking, we noticed that at the next table people were enjoying the sushi that we were offered from the very beginning with great pleasure. That's why we decided to order them too. And we were not disappointed! They were amazing!!!
Finally, I asked for dessert and the owner offered it to me as a gift, which was very nice.
At the end we were served 43 liqueur with ice.
In order for us to be satisfied: shampanie from the establishment; gave a 10% discount on a bottle of wine; refusal to pay for a salty dish; dessert as a gift; leker as a gift. AND WE WERE SATISFIED!
I strongly recommend that you visit this establishment to have fun and enjoyment.

Read moreWe arrived around 10.30, as we were late out and they were open until midnight we thought we'd ask around a few.
Firstly I have a plant based diet and a vegan life. These guys not only responded they had a vegan option but said they would make a paella for one that is suitable so my partner could have a non-vegan option of whatever she wanted.
From the outset the guys were really welcoming and helpful. In a way that was genuine and authentic. Although it was late and a quiet night for them we were treated like it was prime time service.
One of the great things about the venue is it's a modern Gran Canarian restaurant. It's traditional and priced like any other restaurant, without feeling like they are hanging on the tail coats of nostalgia.
So onto the food and wine, a great suggestion on the wine meant we spent a little more however one of the staff serving us, Jimano (one of the partners it turned out) was so knowledgeable and chose a great bottle for us.
To start the Mojo on the Gran Canadian potatoes was milder in comparison to some however always a great staple and they had a good salt crust. My partners stuffed mushrooms were amazing by reports and a great lead in for her sirloin steak.
The paella came out a perfect size for one, the flavours and cooking involved were excellently balanced. Including a fantastic mix of veg. And the steak was a perfect introduction to Canarian meat. Pre-sealed and delivered with a griddle for finishing each slice.
The whole meal was a great finish to a well deserved holiday. If there are any people in the area looking for meat and a vegan option that will satisfy all nerves of eating in Mogana this will...
Read moreYesterday, I had the pleasure of dining at this charming restaurant, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The food was exceptional, with a few standout dishes that left a lasting impression. However, there were minor areas for improvement that could elevate the dining experience even further.
Let’s start with the positives: the meat dishes were absolutely fantastic. We ordered the suckling lamb, and it was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The truffled Paella was another highlight, offering a rich and aromatic blend of ingredients that left us wanting more. The meat in both dishes was incredibly soft and well-seasoned, showcasing the chef’s expertise.
The Sangria deserves a special mention—it was top-notch! Refreshing, well-balanced, and the perfect accompaniment to the meal. It’s clear that the bar team knows their craft.
That said, there was one dish that fell slightly short of expectations: the potato smash. While the concept was good, the execution was a bit dry. In my opinion, it needed a creamy sauce or a touch of butter to make it smoother and more flavorful. A simple adjustment could transform this side dish into something truly memorable.
Despite this small hiccup, I would highly recommend this restaurant for a family dinner or any special occasion. The ambiance is warm and inviting, the service is attentive, and the majority of the dishes are outstanding. It’s a place where you can enjoy a memorable meal with loved ones, and I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu.
