Restaurante El Ciervo — Restaurant in Mogán

When we arrived the place was packed and we was lucky to get a table or so we thought…. Wrong! The table next to us was unhappy with their food and we thought it would be an isolated incident but we ended up not eating dinner the food was so bad.

To add insult to injury waited 45 minutes for mine and what came out was nothing like the pictures on Google Sloppy and dry I didn’t think it’s possible to ruin garlic bread and see the picture of my chicken schnitzel that arrived. I was told before I ordered that there was no asparagus. I don’t think they actually offer asparagus. I think it was only put on there to entice people And then when I did ask what vegetables I could have I confirm things that I liked however when I receive my dinner I was given carrots which I don’t eat. The chicken was so dry. It was in edible and the mash tasted of vinegar and was completely lumpy and the wrong texture as well as being cold. How is that possible after us...

All too good, getting you In, all we wanted was roast chicken with vegetables and potatoes. The vegetables and potatoes were cold and the chicken was warm and the sauce had split. We asked for it to be changed, it came back a few minutes later ... The vegetables and potatoes were swimming in grease and the chicken was dry even with the sauce on, needless to say we left it . This was taken off the bill and we just paid for our drinks and starter very begrudgingly and left I went back to the hotel and was violently sick. Would not go back or...

With all honesty the staff and service were friendly and good! However, we were there to eat and hence the 1 star.

The food was below average. We ordered the T-bone and the sirloin and the meat in general tasted very old and rubbery! The sirloin was presented with a terrible sauce and mashed potatoes were too sour. Vegetables were piled and soaked in grease! Wine tasted like juice and it was all in all a dinner to forget. It was not a cheap dinner either so with that kind of money you can get yourself real spoiled...
