The Shamrock Bar — Restaurant in Mogán

I wouldn't go near this place! Four of us went in there for some drinks, I asked for the cocktail menu and ordered four, I then said joking to the bar man oh your cocktails are €8 here, they're only €6 in the other Irish bar to which he replied well why don't ye go back there. Clearly I was joking and having some banter but his response and seriousness had us stunned. Then while standing there someone bumped off my friend and spilled a few small drops on the ground and the same bar man came straight out with a mop rolling his eyes and tutting at us like we were after doing it in purpose and basically like we were an inconvenience. Vibe from them was crap and we all agreed it's our first and last time there. Plenty of other bars there who are happy to welcome you and we will spend our money...

Awful service here. Waited at the bar to be served and was only second person at the bar. The barman saw us waiting there and quite a few people then turned up and he served them ahead of us. Really rude and not paying any attention to what is happening. This was the chap with greasy black hair. A second guy with grey hair was making drinks behind the bar completely ignoring people too.

In top of that someone ordered a strawberry daiquiri and the black haired guy topped up some old mix that was in a blender, so it wasn’t even fresh. At €8 this is unacceptable.

This place is an absolute must-go, what a wicked little spot. We went 3 times all in, saw Kelly Marlow twice, Tony Byrne twice and Rob Gorman once, all fantastic artists. Rory the owner is a dead nice guy, made us feel really welcome, despite them running out of Guinness (Island wide shortage, can't be helped) we had a fantastic time every time we went. The staff were all very friendly, the bar and toilets were clean and it wasn't too expensive. Kelly's show is Monday, Thursday, Fri, Sat, Sun.
