Really disappointing, had chosen to come here for dinner after reading all the great reviews. It was my wifes birthday meal so wanted somewhere nice to celebrate. When we arrived we were told quite rudely by the waiter that the outside tables were full, despite there clearly being empty tables, we were plonked at a table near the door and left to wait for someone else to be available to serve us. It quickly became apparent that he was saving those tables for his favourite regulars who he made a huge fuss of each time any of them arrived, even leaving one couple mid way through pouring their drinks to go and speak to another regular who had just arrived at one point. He clearly wanted to spend time fussing over those he knew to be good tippers and wasn't interested in us. The other waiter made a small effort and we would have laughed off the behaviour of his colleague had the food not been such a huge disappointment. We both ordered the Tex Mex fajita which was mediocre at best with chewy beef and lacking in any flavour. If you want good service, good food and a friendly environment don't waste your energy going upstairs head to MammaChef on the ground...

During our week-long vacation in Puerto Rico, we dined at Toro Bravo three times—including our last dinner before heading home. Each time, we felt warmly welcomed, and the staff took great care of us and our children. A special shout-out to Jose, whose kindness and positive energy truly made our experience unforgettable. The owner is lucky to have such a wonderful person on the team! The food and drinks were top-notch. We loved every dish we tried. Our kids especially enjoyed the grilled chicken, fun mocktails, and the crepes with Nutella and ice cream. My husband and I were big fans of the seafood with Canarian potatoes. And the paella? One of the best I’ve ever had—and that’s saying something, since it’s my favorite dish! Our eldest son also loved the Mojito, calling it one of the best in his life. Top class restaurant couldn't recommend enough! We spent 3 days out of our week long holiday for dinner here and were more and more impressed each evening! Food was delicious with great variety on the menu, tried something different every night and all was equally delicious and well executed. The service here is top class! The best waiting staff I have had the pleasure of being served by in any restaurant! Our table of 7 was so well looked after, we felt like the only people in the restaurant. Drinks were flowing, food kept coming smoothly and timely. My 3 year old niece was so entertained by Jose and his magic tricks - such a lovely personal touch! Had the most enjoyable and fun evenings at this restaurant. The waiting staff are a credit to this restaurant, you will not leave disappointed!
