Went here twice in a 7 day stay in puerto Rico. The staff were super friendly and no pulling you in off the street, which always puts me off. We eat curries a lot at home, and these here were amongst the best we have had. Food is well presented and arrived in great time, the staff all engaged with us and made us feel welcome, nothing wad too much trouble. I'd definitely recommend this place to eat whether it be indian food or from the alternative menu, our kids don't like Indian cuisine so they had hot dog, chips and chicken nuggets and they ate it which is rare because they are fussy. Also, the whole meal was great value and was about the same price as eating crappy burgers and chips elsewhere, so all in all, we couldn't fault it. Maybe worth booking if you plan on going at weekends, lots of tables were reserved at about 6.30pm so avoid disappointment. 10 out of 10 from us, we will definitely be back when we return to...
Read moreTake away must be different to sitting in as both meals I have tried this week we're not good at all. Tried twice to give them the benefit of the doubt but I was very disappointed on both occasions. Chicken dansak usually has pineapple in it .. a bit sweet and spicy, not this one. Sauce quite thin. Quite tasteless all round. Chips ok. Next was tandoori chicken masala and again not much taste and the sauce was very watery. Chips a bit tough as if they'd stood a while. Husband got tandoori king prawn. It came with a separate sauce that just tasted of chilli pepper and not much else. Just as well that the prawns came seperate as they still had the heads on ,(not unusual), but they hadn't been de-veined! So the line if poo was still there in all of them and he had to clean them himself. Not good! Needless to say it's the first time but it's the last time. Wouldn't recommend. On the plus side....the staff...
Read moreWonderfully authentic and a great overall experience. My wife and I have ate there twice this week, which is unusual for us given the vast choice of restaurants in the area, but is testimony to the quality of food and service. The main courses are superb and where applicable are cooked to your preference of mild, medium or hot. The staff are very attentive and are keen to give advice and offer suggestions for a meal. On our second visit, Buskir (a very knowledgeable and friendly individual) suggested a Garlic Chicken Sizzler, which was very similar to what is my favourite dish in the UK, and it was superb. My wife enjoyed Chicken Tikka Karai on both occasions and she also thought it was delicious. This restaurant is the real deal and rates highly on quality and service, as well as being very reasonably priced. We are already looking forward to...
