Shanghai Wok Buffet — Restaurant in Mogán

A few months ago I visited Gran Canaria and stayed in one of the many hotels surrounding the Wok buffet. There is a lot of places to choose in the 'complex' but I believe we made the right decision eating out here. The price was brilliant for an all-you-can-eat buffet and along with this there was a fantastic array of foods and food types. There were starters, mains, deserts. You could also choose certain food (EG: Mushroom, prawns, chicken) to (along with a chosen sauce) be turned into your own stir fry. The staff were fairly decent and did provide etiquette. The cutlery was very clean with no remains, dirt ETC: being sighted. The eating areas were ok but the constant smell of cigarette smoke definitely put us off, we asked to move seats a few times because of this and sometimes resorted to moving to a window. I believe that there should be better non-smoking seats to cater for families with children. Overall I do recommend this place as I indeed went to this place quite a lot within my holiday. It's a good place but it's a shame it's held up in a horrible shopping centre....

This is by far the best Wok Buffet available in Puerto Rico! Not only that but the food beats the pants off of many of the other “restaurants” in The Commercial Centre. Eat as much as you like for €12.58 each. Highly recommend - the Hot and Sour Soup, pancake rolls, crispy duck pancakes, salt n pepper pork ribs and BBQ Pork ribs, Chicken Curry, Sweet n Sour Chicken and Pork, Beef with green peppers, The Fresh tuna, white fish, king prawns, beef minute steaks and chops that they cook to order for you, ice cream, cake and creme caramel. The staff are really lovely. Very genuine with their customers. You get a complimentary Homey Rum or Peach schnapps after! Oh and their coffee is good too! If you’re feeling too stuffed to walk after it’s a couple of steps to Bros Bar to get beers and cocktails and push on...

We went to Shanghai Wok Buffet last night just before the evening rush. The staff were very friendly and the food hot amd tasty. Drinks were reasonably priced. Gluten free options were clearly marked. The greatest part was the cook to order station. All the food came out super tasty and fresh.

I have only one gripe and it has nothing to do with the restaurant or the food. A large party with quite a few kids was seated a short while after we arrived and the children were touching all of the desserts, picking the tops off the cakes etc. I informed the staff and they were vigilant about not letting them alone with the food.

So top marks for the restaurant....
