Nunca más. Acudimos para hacer noche irlandesa el 16-17 de marzo. El pub decorado con aviso St Patrick’s Weekend, regalo por cada dos cervezas… pero el jefe no regala nada hasta la noche del domingo. Ni siquiera a partir de las doce de la noche… que ya es 17 de marzo. Ni siquiera música irlandesa! Una actitud mediocre para quitar el ánimo a los clientes que llegan con ganas de una noche larga… y que se irán a otro sitio! No-go place. St Patrick’s night (March 16, Saturday), pennants all round the place for St Patrick’s weekend, one gift every two beers… what a flop! The boss says No gifts until Sunday night… not even some Irish upbeat music! Who the hell goes out on a Sunday night??? Poor atmosphere and poorer service. The place is not what it was long ago … Time to look for a new spot to celebrate!!!

Mi pareja y yo fuimos ayer por la tarde con un grupo de amigos. Nos tuvimos que ir antes y pagué en barra lo que habíamos tomado mi pareja y yo (3 pintas de Lagunitas y 1 pinta de Paulaner, 19€). No quitaron de la cuenta lo que pagué y una de nuestras amigas nos llamó diciendo que la camarera (la misma a la que pagué en efectivo en la barra) había insistido en que pagaran ellos nuestra consumición. O llevaban un descontrol terrible o querían aprovecharse de nuestros amigos, que por cierto eran todos extranjeros. Quiero pensar que fue lo primero. Pero lo que de verdad me fastidia fue que ¡Nos dejaron en mal lugar ante nuestros amigos diciendo que no habíamos pagado!

Definitely looked like an Irish pub... But that was about it! Although the staff in general were friendly they weren't Irish and had little to no English. The beer on the night wasn't great (Stella & Budwiser). A Brazilian bar man allowed me to make baby Guinness on a few occasions for our group because he didn't know what it was or how to make it, he was however eager to learn from me and made a good fist of it by the end of the night. We were the only Irish people there and maybe 5-6 Spanish customers, not very busy.. Overall maybe worth a visit and hopefully you get a busier night with...

Called into Fitzpatrick's so called Irish bar in Murcia on Saturday 28th June, i ordered a pint of Guinness and couldn't believe the sorry effort that was set in front of me by a surly male bartender. PLEASE organise some staff training sessions in the art of the pour. All TVs showing a club world cup game that none of the other three customers were interested in, no sign of Tyrone v Dublin!!! i will of course give it another chance to see if they actually read the reviews. Not really an Irish pub in that they have no Irish staff. Great selection of beers though right inn the heart of Murcia. Good place to watch the 6 Nations, although you might have to ask them to put it on (and be prepared in advance by finding out what channel it's on!)
