Goiko — Restaurant in Murcia

Staff speaks enough English and there's a digital menu available in English. Everyone was incredibly kind and the food was delicious. The prices are not too extreme and there are vegetarian and gluten-free alternatives. Sweet potato fries are to die for. The bathrooms were clean enough. The restaurant can be a little loud towards the afternoon as it is nearby a school and it fills with middle schoolers. However, the outdoor seats solve that problem easily. There's also AC inside which is a life saver on a hot and humid day here. The menu also has pork and non-pork options.

The appetizers was delicious and the portion is big enough for two to share, the barbecue sauce that acompanies it is one of the best I have ever tasted (I don't know if it's homemade or not). The chicken burger with crisp onion flakes acompanied with potato wedges was ravishing and big enough to prevent me from ordering desserts. When I was studying in Murcia everyone said that Goiko is the best place to have burgers. With that high expectations, saying that I was pretty sad, is like to say nothing. Took Kevin Serrana - patty dissolved even before my first bite, so like 0/10 just for beef patty, zero juices and completely burnt meat, while patatas bravas were very cold and oversalted for too much tho.
