We just had our second visit here and I have never been so humiliated in a restaurant. The first time we stopped by I would have rated it a solid 4 Stars. The Service was really friendly (thank you Mike) and the food exactly what I would ask of a steakhouse. This time Mike again was a charm but when my medium-rare (that's what I ordered) steak arrived I started with the fat layer. I love it. But then I cut to the middle and it was simply medium-done with advance to done. I told them about it, the waiter agreed it was not red in the middle but slidely rose. He took the food with him and I thought "well that shouldn't happen but hey, it can happen".
THIS IS WHERE IT GETS INTERESTING
Another person came with my dish, the one I rejected, hold it to my face and told me to order something else as that is medium rare. We argued and I agreed to taste a bite of the middle again. DRY AND BY FAR NOT MEDIUM RARE. OK so I should order something else. He took the plate, my fries and everything. I thought "that was rude but ok" then while leaving the table that guy said "you pay half, you ate half" and disappeared. He came back a few minutes later with the menu and I told him I was done and I am not paying the food. The drinks for sure but not the food.
He argued with me and got my plate again, gestured about how much I ate by exaggerating the size it had from the beginning. The waiters looked shocked but went elsewhere. I told him that I would not pay the meat again and he disappeared again to come back with the bill for only the drinks. HE THEN TRIED TO TAKE A PICTURE OF ME AND TOLD ME TO NEVER COME BACK.
THIS WAS THE WORST EXPIRIENCE EVER. I AM A CHEF MYSELF AND THAT STEAK WAS SIMPLY NOT NICELY DONE.

Read moreI visited Dakota Tex Mex with some family while visiting Mallorca. We went for dinner and had a table of 12.
The service was okay. Everyone at the table ordered some kind of drink and when they were brought out, a waitress stood at the end of the table saying the name of the drink. Unfortunately people were mid-conversation and not paying attention and not everyone heard her. She then became very frustrated and rude. I didn't expect her to know who ordered what drink, but a little bit of kindness goes a long way.
The food was okay at best. Very basic tex-mex food. Coming from Canada where this type of food is quite common - they don't do a great job of recreating it.
The worst part about our experience was when it came time to pay. The bill came and two members of the party wanted to split it. The waiter 'divided' the bill and the two people paid, one person being my father. We were then walking back to our hotel when my dad stopped and said he felt that something was wrong with the amount that was paid. We checked the bill and, it turned out they were overcharged by $100. We went back to the restaurant explaining that they had been overcharged. They said they did not have access to previous credit card transactions but eventually realized/admitted that they were overcharged and gave back $100.
This was very disappointing. We will never know if it was a mistake on the restaurants part or if they were scamming tourists out of a decent amount of money.

Me fui sintiéndome enfadada y desrespetada.
I recently visited Dakota Tex Mex with my 1-year-old daughter, and I am appalled by the experience we had. As a parent, I take great care in ensuring that the food my child eats is suitable for her, especially when dining out. Unfortunately, Dakota Tex Mex failed us miserably in this regard. When I ordered from the children's menu, I was shocked to find that the chips served were heavily salted. In my home country, it's customary not to salt food for infants, so I didn't think to specify "no salt" when ordering. Realising this could be a cultural difference, I politely asked for the dish to be replaced without salt. I would have gladly paid for a fresh portion if necessary, as the mistake was on my part for not clarifying initially. However, what followed was utterly disgraceful. The server returned with the same meal and assured me it was now salt-free. Trusting their word, I allowed my daughter to eat the chips. To my horror, I discovered after most of the food had been eaten that it was still covered in salt. They had blatantly lied to me, showing complete disregard for my child’s well-being.When I raised my concerns, the staff seemed indifferent and unconcerned about the situation. It is beyond unacceptable for a restaurant to deceive its customers, especially when it involves the health of a young child. I left feeling angry and disrespected.I would strongly advise against dining at Dakota Tex Mex, particularly if you have young children. The lack of honesty and care is simply inexcusable. This experience was not only disappointing but also...
