Terrible expierence! Please avoid, as there is loads of good places around. The waiters have no idea what basic service etiquette is. From beginning when we arrived and stopped at enterance, and was waiting to be sitted, waitress looked on us and ignored. Only when we thought "maybe you just need to take empty table", the same waitress stopped us saying we need to wait, but thats okay.. But the rest.... For some reason, they took away the napkins right after taking the order, and we had to ask for them again. Instead of a "strawberry daiquiri" cocktail, they brought a strawberry sorbet with no other ingredients. The sushi was falling apart, different sizes, as if made by a child. I ordered meat ravioli with Bolognese, but the mince was so coarse it felt like the Bolognese was made of meatballs. I also found some spaghetti inside the ravioli, which raises even more questions. The food tasted like nothing, and looked even worse. I’d probably be embarrassed to serve this to my dog. Just a disgrace to the kitchen (just check pictures) Also, the ventilation inside is awful you either sit in a stuffy heat or under a strong blast of...
Read moreAs part of Prinsotel La Dorada, this restaurant is one of the options for dinner. We had higher hopes for this place, but the food ranged from decent to terrible.
For starters, We ordered 3 burrata di caprese, 2 of them were good, but one of them, the burrata was completely spoiled and sour, we couldn’t believe it. However, the goat cheese salad and focaccia were good.
Next for the mains, 4 of us ordered the veal special which didn’t say that it was an enormous deep-fried veal steak. And the veal steak served was raw in the center, almost as if it was fried from frozen.
Pizzas and pastas were OK. Pappardelle was good, but couldn’t serve us the rotten burrata from the appies..
Lastly, dessert was all very poor apart from the tiramisu and the Ben and Jerrys. Stay away from the “panna cotta”.
One of our guests has also been sick all night from their meal. Bad experience in general, but some dishes were okay. Don’t think it is worth the...
Read moreFirstly, I didn't take any pictures because the atmosphere was so lovely and it was dimly lit and a flash would have been necessary and the last thing I wanted to be was THAT American. But every single dish was a masterpiece! I ordered 3 sushi rolls to share the spicy tuna was out of this world delicious! We ordered two of those thank goodness because they went fast. We also ordered the Salmon Poké bowl, it was mouthwateringly fresh and the flavor combination was genius. We had a large group and they accommodated everyone's needs above and beyond what was expected, other people in our party ordered the Chicken Gyoza, Yakisoba and the Yaki Udon I didn't try them due to my gluten allergy but omg did I want too and there were 0 complaints from anyone. If you want to be in the hustle and bustle of night life and enjoy a superbly prepared meal a Picco is where it's at. Their drinks were SO good. Every ingredient on our table just...
