Copa Vino — Restaurant in Nerja

Friends invited us to this restaurant the ladies got there first and we joined them a few minutes later when we arrived the music was the first thing that struck us and I mean struck it was so loud. The ladies said they had asked could it be turned down which the waiter said they would do but did not. We couldn’t hear each other talk. So we asked again, the staff with a bun on on his head, still didn’t happen. Obviously someone is a fan of ELO “Don’t Bring Me Down “ but if you out for a meal with friends you don’t want to listen to this at such a loud volume. Dropped by without a booking and were lucky enough to get a table for two, and really glad we did. The food was fantastic I had a salad with prawns, chilly and a portion of the garlic and parsley chips my Mrs had the steak with egg etc it was all fantastic can't remember ever having enjoyed a salad so much and the Mrs medal was equally delicious. I can only comment on the wine but the Mrs said it was good but they did have an excellent selection and most available by the glass. Reservation process of the restaurant is shocking. The two numbers which one can find either on Google or Facebook lead you to a voice mail, the voice mail instructs one to send an sms for a reservation. The sms doesn’t not get read or replied to. We went past the restaurant to see if they received our reservation and we were greeted by extremely rude and defensive staff. Their response simply was “we do not answer phone calls during working hours”. Do yourself a favor and walk straight past this place onto much better offerings in Nerja where you will be greeted by much...
