Rare Grill Nerja — Local services in Nerja

This place is awesome…we came quite late (10pm) and they were extremely accommodating, even with a baby who refuses to sleep! They were out of fillet steak so we tried the sirloin and it was amazing. Almost as tender as a fillet, more flavour, perfectly cooked and the service from the team was amazing. It’s a new restaurant but you can tell every detail has been thought about from the decor to the layout to the menu. It’s a stunning restaurant with awesome people. Only small piece of feedback would be to add a cream spinach to the sides…personal preference but I think a steak isn’t complete without it.

Honestly so upset as service was amazing, took a long time to get a seat so we’re given free nachos and a free drink each (3 of us).

I ordered the tenderloin medium and when it came out I wasn’t very happy so I sent it back still came out raw. 2 out of 3 people at the table were quite unhappy.

I couldn’t fault the staff giving us discounts, apologising and being incredibly sweet, but unfortunately this doesn’t change the quality of food. The owner was very sweet plus the runners were also absolutely amazing.

For drink on the terrace I couldn’t recommend more but for food...

The steak almost had a sauce on it that completely took away the flavour of good steak to me. The corn is not fresh and the fries portion size was small.

It’s very expensive, the most I’ve paid for a beer in Spain all week. There is better more reasonably priced places for steak close by (it just wasn’t open on weekends unfortunately).

Over all the service was okay. The starter took a while to come out then as soon as the starter was collected the mains were on the table. Shots offered on the house which is a nice touch. Nice experience but nothing I am in a hurry...
