An absolutely brilliant bar and restaurant! Visited today with my in-laws, wife, and 3-year-old son. We were given a lovely, warm, welcome, and the staff were friendly and helpful from beginning to end. We visited largely as it looked like a nice spot to have a drink and a bit of food while watching the boats but the experience was way beyond what we hoped for. The drinks - frozen cocktails, local wine, and ice-cold beers were great and the food was genuinely brilliant, rustic, local cuisine. The tortilla - advertised as famous locally - should be famous internationally. A perfect dish. Good luck finding better outside of the most vaunted places like Bar Nestor in San Sebastian. Also loved the Padron peppers, garlic and chilli prawns (would swim in that sauce), beautiful sirloin steak, croquettes, and salad. We went out for a small meal, ended up being tempted into a feast, and the bill at the end was a very pleasant surprise! Thank you for having us. We will be back. Must visit if...

(Although the response has now been deleted I was amazed to find by speaking as we found on the day the owner began trolling me and cyberstalking my face book account with abuse. I have therfore dropped my review to a 1 star. I'm sorry sir but people review everywhere they eat, shop and most other things these days. Most businesses choose to either make adjustments, add there own comments in defense or simply ignore. Your reaction and personal attack on my appearance and perceived character crossed the line. My advice to you sir, start drinking a little later in the day and perhaps take some water to prevent.you being a hindrance to your hard working staff.)
Finally your 'do not come back' was not necessary as we have no intention to do so after our...
Read moreWe absolutely loved this place. It's really tucked away at the end of the marina, past the dive centre, but it is well worth the walk. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the location means you can watch the boats coming by and enjoy the sunset in the evening. We tried a number of things over our 2 visits, including the ONE burger. We also had a number of tapas dishes, which were all tasty, including chiporones, which are served with the best tasting fries! I had the tortilla on the recommendation of our waitress and it was the best I jave ever tasted. Perfectly soft in the middle and brilliantly seasoned. You must try this. We also tried the rib eye and the chicken cordon bleu. All food was great and a very good price. If you want a low key meal, with food and service at the centre of your experience then come here. It feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of the main marina. Its a lovely spot, not known...
