After spending time on the beach, we came in quite hungry, food was ok , the service created some confusion, as three different staff members approached our table, leaving us unsure who was actually serving us. Two of them were polite and pleasant with big smiles on their face . However, the head waiter who took our order was quite rude and disrespectful
While I was trying to place my order, he turned his back on me and instead attempted to take the order from my husband! even though I had clearly made a specific request to adjust my meal. When I tried to clarify, he raised his voice and shouted from 2 m distance, “Lady, it’s okay,” which felt dismissive and disrespectful. His sarcastic manner throughout the interaction was very disappointing.
If you are the head waiter, you should set the example of being the best — not the rudest ! You still have some manners to learn, darling , and your attitude costed you a generous tip !! Thank you but we won’t return , we will go where people serve us...
Read moreA really beautiful location but unfortunately they have squeezed in too many tables and it’s extremely stressful to eat here - there was constantly staff walking past us and walk in customers standing next to diners trying to get a table - why don’t they have a member of staff at the front to either turn people away or seat them? At one point there must have been ten people queuing to get a table.
The flooring with the glass tiles that let you look down into the water is nice however it’s incredibly bouncy and the constant traffic of waiters walking past our table made me feel nauseous.
Our pizzas were “ok”. I had the prosciutto which was covered in dried oregano and the prosciutto was chopped up boiled ham. My partner had the calzone which he said was nice.
We would have stayed for dessert and coffee but the atmosphere was so stressful I just wanted to leave and we had...
Read moreSecured a table for two - it seems booking is advisable for the evening - at 6.30 4th of January. The maitre d' seemed a little brusque but the waitress taking our order was friendly, recommended a wine which was excellent, and kept an eye out to see if we were happy. The setting is beautiful and the atmosphere was warm. A previous review mentioned being plagued by mosquitoes because the place is directly overlooking the marina - absolute nonsense. My husband is a mosquito magnet and we haven't encountered a single one during our holiday! The food was really good. I had fettuccine alla nonna, with salmon and cream sauce - outstanding, and my husband had the steak cooked on stone, again, delicious, with roasted veg and Canarian potatoes. The maitre d turned out to be gruffly humourous and we were given a complementary Amaretto at the end of the meal. All good! We will...
