Living in Canada and having the luxury of having access to many authentic Indian restaurants, I was skeptical if the food would be as flavourful and spicy in Palma de Mallorca as in Canada. The past Google reviews did not disappoint. If I stayed longer in Mallorca, I would come back to this restaurant again. Let me begin with the excellent service. Our server, Sonu was very attentive. He recognized that we were from South Asian descent and would tolerate and prefer a stronger spice level. He ensured our dishes were catered to our spice tolerance and also gave us options to further cater the spice level after serving the food. We were served promptly and never rushed to finish our food. We were also served shots on the house after our meal. I noticed the other server on the floor was just as attentive to the customers. Service is 5/5. To discuss food, the meals were all delicious. The flavours and aroma of the food were mouth watering. There were too many great options. We decided to go with the chef's special plates of Agra's special curry, fish curry, garlic naan, parotta, and pulao (rice). In addition, we were served some papadom with 4 different sauces (coriander chutney, mango sauce, spicy onion, and yogurt). Everything was delicious... our bowls and plates were scraped clean. If you are of South Asian descent on vacation and want a taste of comfort and food, this is the place to go. I didn't realize how much I missed the flavours of home food until I ate here. If I am in Mallorca, I would definitely...

We arrived at 18:10 after confirming on Google that the restaurant was open. The terrace tables were already set up, and everything inside seemed ready, but there wasn’t a single staff member in sight. We had to go inside to get someone’s attention, and eventually, a staff member (who appeared to be Indian) finally showed up. He informed us they wouldn't open until 18:30. Assuming he meant the kitchen (a common practice in Spain), we said we were fine waiting 20 minutes. However, we were surprisingly refused a table with the excuse that he needed to clean them.
We offered to sit outside to stay out of his way, but he dismissed us again, citing the need to use "chemicals" to clean, which turned out to be nothing more than a basic cleaning spray from Mercadona.
I’ve been to this place before and never experienced such treatment. We ended up leaving, both hangry and disappointed.
I’m now uncertain if I’ll ever return. It’s disheartening to see employees who seem indifferent to the success of the business and fail to recognize how satisfied customers are directly tied to their job security. Yet, these same employees would likely complain if the restaurant struggled or closed and they lost their jobs. I sincerely hope the owner reads this and has a serious conversation with their staff about how they...
Read moreI'm a south Indian, I searched on google for any Indian restaurants in Palma that serves South Indian food. I specifically searched for "Dosa" and google suggested this restaurant has Dosa in the menu. The name of the restaurant is South Indian. Only after reaching the restaurant we gotta know that they don't have any south Indian dishes ❗❗. Perhaps the menu entirely changed since 2023. I saw some pictures of the menu from 2023 that had dosa & other similar dishes.
The mango lassi, garlic naan & paneer 65 were fine ✅. The chicken manchurian & gobi manchurian is not what you typically expect from an Indian restaurant ⛔. The coconut rice & lemon rice is definitely not what you get from south India ⛔. It was disappointing.
We saw some empty tables and asked if we could sit outside but the staff mentioned we cannot as they were reserved. We were at the restaurant for 1-1.5hrs and did not see anyone occupy the seats. That further disappointed us. They could have allowed us to sit. Not an...
