Best sushi outside of Japan

We managed to get a last minute booking on a Saturday night in February out of season, right near the end of our trip, and by the end of our dinner we were sad we’d not be able to visit this restaurant again this time.

The sushi was sublime. We’ve spent time in Japan and this is the only sushi that’s come close. The fish was so fresh and of high quality. And then, the chef was able to blend Spanish flavours in with Japanese in a subtle, mind-blowing combination.

We had: salmon tartare, prawn gyoza, missed sashimi and the flamed tuna roll. For dessert we enjoyed the yuzu mochi and creamy cheesecake. All of the dishes were superb.

The best dish was the roll - flame seared tuna, some truffle… and a gentle hint of chilli. We wished we could eat it all again when at the end!

A big shout out to the creamy cheesecake for dessert - best baked cheesecake we’ve had on this trip (we’ve had a few good ones , this was so good we took a slice away for the next day).

Highly recommended. Thanks for making us...

The seating was comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was decent, though not particularly standout. The menu felt quite limited, and the sushi options didn’t quite align with my preferences. Some of the flavor combinations in the rolls didn’t come together as well as I’d hoped.

That said, the highlight of the meal was definitely the rock shrimp, flavourful and well-prepared. The wine selection was good, though we had to pour our own refills a few times as the service wasn’t particularly attentive.

A mixed experience overall but room for improvement in both the menu...

Our favorite dinner in Palma, Mallorca! We made reservations and our table was readily available. The service from the moment we created the reservation was excellent. We had the shrimp Gyoza that were absolutely delicious. We had the spicy edamame and would recommend this as a starter. The nigiri we ordered was fresh. We loved the hamachi the most. We are Miami natives with Cuban background and really enjoyed dining at a restaurant that we learned was owned by a Cuban. The sushi is unique and delicious. A must try for date...
