Guarango Burger and Beer — Restaurant in Palma

Mmhm, this is a tasty burger place! Relaxed atmosphere, amazing burgers, phenomenal service.

Since this is a craft beer bar, you obviously get a nice selection of different types of beer from three or four different brands. You will be introduced to the different kinds of beer they offer by the friendly staff. I saw that you can order a selection of 4 different beers - a kind of beer tasting variety, if you will. Didn't order that one, but I loved the Brewdog Soup IPA that was recommended to me. However, the food was actually the main character here for me.

I don't say this lightly, but this place probably serves the best burgers I have ever eaten. I didn't believe the other reviews first, but now I know their Smash burgers are actually outstanding (we had the Cheese Bacon and the Classic American.).

I'm not sure what the reason is: Is it the delicious potato bread buns, which deliciously manage to be soft and chewy at the same time? Is it the (apparently house-made) "Smash" patty, made from ground meat which was caramelized during the grilling? Or do they even use the magic ingredient lard to grill the meat, just like every other Mallorquín kitchen? I don't know what it is, but the Guarango people definitely know how to burger. The price is very reasonable as well: Around 14 € for a burger with fries (also house-made!).

The atmosphere is relaxed, open and very friendly. We were served by Marisol, who made our dinner even more enjoyable with her friendly chat and recommendations. All the people there seem to love what they're doing.

Also, this place seems to prefer to play classic rock hits (Clapton, Springsteen, the Cure...), which is the cherry on top for me.

Guarango Burgers & Beer was an incredible surprise to find right in my own neighborhood. I’ve been living in Spain for almost a year and a half, and in Palma for about six weeks, and this is the first burger that truly reminded me of home. As a Southern California native from Los Angeles, I know good burgers, and this place absolutely nailed it.

The beef blend was rich and flavorful, the smash patties perfectly done with those crispy edges that make all the difference. The sauce, the fresh vegetables, the brioche bun, the crispy bacon—everything was spot on. For the first time since moving here, I felt like I was back home.

They also have a great selection of beer, wine, and cocktails, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Attentive, engaging, and genuinely happy to be there. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. I can’t recommend it...
