Taco Loco Can Pastilla — Restaurant in Palma

Accidentally passed by the street where Taco Loco was located, loving tacos and Mexican food, and still searching for tacos in Europe that taste like the original ones in Mexico. Finding this small restaurant, I searched on Google and saw that it had a rating of 4.9/5. I was pleasantly surprised and headed to the restaurant with high expectations based on its 4.9 rating on Google.

The restaurant is very small and it looks authentic.When we arrived, it was empty and we didn't know where to sit because of the tight space. Outside, there were 3 tables, but they were occupied by people who were not necessarily there for tacos...and indirectly causing inconvenience. We were looked at strangely from the restaurant next door, as if we were in the wrong place. Anyway, we sat down, and a very nice young lady took our order. We waited for the order to arrive. In about 10 minutes, the order came, and it indeed looked very appealing on the plate. We ordered three different tacos. However, the taste had no resemblance to the original taco. It was very far from the original taste. The coriander had no taste, and the guacamole was the same. The food was okay, but it wasn't tacos. I was very disappointed to find a Mexican restaurant with a rating of 4.9/5 on Google that had no connection to Mexico. Fui ha cenar solo el jueves noche. La carta apuntada en una pizarra carece de variedad. 4 cosas mal contadas.

Cabe señalar que soy asiduo a restaurantes mexicanos tanto en México como en Palma , como en toda Cataluña.

Y este no es 100% mexicano. Casero si porque los platos se hacen al momento pero los ingredientes no son de calidad y la carne no es fresca (es congelada).

Pido una michelada y unas flautas.

Al cabo del rato me empieza a picar todo el cuerpo y se me empieza hacer un nudo en el estómago,pido agua fresca pero no consigo respirar bien y me voy sofocado sin postre.

Al llegar al hotel tengo la piel del cuerpo llena de ronchas , bebo más agua y me ducho en agua fría .

Poco a poco voy mejorando.

Pero lo que pensaba que era por cuestión del picante o de los mosquitos se tornó una alergia alimentaria que casi termina por ahogarme .

Cabe decir que no soy alérgico a nada y es la primera vez que me pasa.

La respuesta pueden ser 2 cosas , la primera que ahora de repente sea alérgico a las flautas y la cerveza y lo segundo que algún ingrediente estuviera en mal estado.

En cualquier caso , yo no me la juego más porque lo pasé realmente mal.

si tengo que hacerme un chequeo cada vez que voy a un restaurante estaría cada día en el hospital. No tengo alergias y a lo que yo decía flautas me refiero a tacos.

He dicho que la comida es casera y se que la cocina es pequeñita pero ya te digo yo que la carne era congelada. Que no me parece mal , pues si no hay rotación una carne fresca en el frigo te dura 3 días y más la de pollo.

Algo estaba en mal estado pues el plato que pedí poco puede variar de cientos que he comido con anterioridad sin problemas.

Y el hecho de tener la carta apuntada en una pizarra y no en un papel os impide indicar los alérgenos que es vuestra obligación enseñar a...

Honestly, I saw this was a new business and I saw a review from Christina complaining that a taco costs 4€ like 2 months before my visit. I saw her taco photo and thought something is wrong; that’s a beautiful taco. And the challenge was accepted. Please ignore her. It was delicious and a great value. I’m surprised they weren’t 7€ - 8€ each. Prove me wrong.
