I have been meaning to write a review for these guys for a while now as we come here quite regularly (at least 2-3 times a month) living in Puerto de la Cruz. Usually we come to just have a couple of drinks and maybe a small tapa, but a couple of weeks ago, we had arranged to meet with a big group of international friends, some of which don't really speak Spanish. All the waiting staff was incredibly nice and patient while about 10 people ordered different drinks and food. They also allowed everyone to come in and pay their bill separately, which I know is not very popular. Everyone felt super welcome and the staff attending us spoke excellent English for those who needed it. The food was also very tasty and you have some vegetarian options available. We ordered the spinach croquettes which were the best ones we had so far in Puerto and also the Arepas were really nice. Baraka will remain one of our go-to-terraces when the weather allows and we're looking for an easy uncomplicated get together with friends and...

Design simple, clean enough, waiters friendly but food was not tasty 🫠 we ordered 3 different positions and none of them were brilliant: croquets with shrimps we didn’t like at all-bad unpleasant taste ; prawns with garlic were okay in general (but not juicy, a little bit overcooked); arepa set of little arepas was the biggest disappointment—we expected to try 12 different interesting tastes , but we got only 3 different tastes which repeated and they were not good at all (chicken with mayo, tuna conserved with onions, beef) , I even didn’t want to make a foto of arepas—they looked as bad as tasted 🥲😞still house white sweet wine was pretty good) so I don’t recommend...
Read moreCozy inside and outside seating with the ocean in earshot, amazing food, delicious cocktails, and the best Sangria I've ever had. Went here on a whim with my partner about halfway through our trip and it became an almost nightly visit. Whether we wanted just a cocktail under the stars or a full meal after a day of walking, it was always a wonderful experience. The staff was always charismatic and friendly. Everything we had was absolutely delicious, and the prices were almost unbelievable! (For two mains, a side, two desserts, two cocktails, and a liter of Sangria, we barely scratched 50€). 100% coming back next...
