Il Gelato Puro — Restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz

Very good gelato, very airy, so more like Amorino in terms of texture, not very "compact" if you prefer that type of ice cream. There are some lactose free/sorbet options for lactose intolerant (which we didn't find anywhere else on the island), but they are few (strawberry, mango, apple and passion fruit). The yogurt is a favourite! Highly recommend + it was pretty cheap: 3 sorbet flavours in a big cup and 1 yoghurt + Hershey's chocolate bar toping were only 7,6€ (they even have us a little cone filled with Nutella in each). The ice creams are really good and are being made in special tubes in cafeteria in front of you. We are coming here every evening during our stay to try different tastes of ice cream and all of them are delicious. The staff is very nice apart of one waitress (short lady with black hair) who is very unpleasant every time we are here and makes you not welcome. She’s on her phone when other member of staff are working hard and once she works, she keeps rolling her eyes or stands in front of you and waves dirty cloth in front of your face.

Thats why we are giving 4* instead of 5* everything else ...

Probably the best ice cream in whole Puerto de la Cruz. Perfect in every aspect; homemade, rich taste, even smells good. Huge variety of flavours, for example real coconut pieces in coconut ice cream, no hassle, just super top quality ice cream. Plus price is very reasonable: 1.80 euros for a single cup. They also make absolutely delicious bubble waffle with ice cream for 5.50. Staff is very friendly. I'd definitely recommend this...
