Playa del Muelle — Attraction in Puerto de la Cruz

We went there for the "ENTIERRO DE LA SARDINA", something like; the sardine' s funeral. It's a parade where a giant sardine has died and her widows (mostly dressed up men as very upset but funny widows) take the sardine to the beach after a long walk around town with music. At the end the sardine is burned and fireworks placed. Stages with live music in town will continue the party alive. It's really funny to see the widows crying her sorrow. I will try to add a video about how a good widow should cry her died sardine, lol. This 2018 we left the party at 1.30 am but some members if my family stayed till 3.30 am. Amazing. I like it for the diving school there, otherwise i think it's the worst "pier" i have seen until now... I wouldn't even call it a pier but whatever. (funfact: it did cost the same as a normal real pier with pantalons... At least that's what people working there told me) They have a gigantic parking place, that is free to use, big plus point. Pretty and small beach. It's nice to sit there and relax. I think the Muelle beach is not perfect choice for a beach day. It's very rocky place so laying on the towel is not comfortable. If you wanna swim, take swimming shoes with you because it's rocky in the sea too. Swimming there is nice but it's kinda deep there so I can't recommend place for the kids or people who...
