The Bee Hive Pub — Restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz

Pleasant enough place to watch sport. Lots of screens. I sat inside to watch the football match (8pm to 10pm). Unfortunately, the whole bar stunk of smoking the whole night. I'm not sure if there is a smoking ban everywhere in Tenerife, but there were no ashtrays on the tables which suggests it's not allowed. I have no idea where the smell came from because I could not see anyone smoking in my vicinity. It may have been wafting in from outside, which suggests the smoking area is far too close to the inside seating areas. My clothes and hair stank of smoke when I got back to my hotel. It reminded me of the horrible days of visiting pubs in the UK before the smoking ban started. Nice bar which does good British food at a reasonable price. Has all the English football. Worth a visit if you are missing home a bit!!!Just revisited this bar and was served the worst meal of my life!!! Supposed to be home made steak pie. What I got was some horrible meat with some carrots in it and a square of indiscribable stuff which I assume was supposed to be pastry on top!! It was served with chips and beans and some gravy. Absolutely horrible. The owner cleared my table and grunted something about me leaving it!! Still charged €8 for this disgusting mess!! Never ever again!!! Avoid the food at...

Visited here most days on holiday. Really lovely staff. So friendly. The brother & sister here were really nice. Lovely to hear people who sound like me. Lol. Very quick with drinks. The service was great. The staff were at your table as soon as you arrived. They didn't stop moving. Constantly on the go. And that's all the staff. The place was very clean and tidy. Music good. A real nice place to go. Didn't eat here,so can't comment. But saw others eat. Empty plates. So must have been ok. Deft worth a visit. I recommend this place. Thanks for a great friendly service.
