RESTAURANTE PIZZERIA NONNO PEPPE — Restaurant in Ronda

The service was OK but that's where it ends. I hate to leave bad reviews but I feel i have to on this occasion as a warning to others. A truly vile experience. I booked due to the good reviews, and the restaurant offering gluten free pizza. When we arrived I checked twice that the gluten free pizza dough was fresh and not a supermarket base (as they often are) - I was assured that it was. Our food arrived quickly but there were issues with both meals: the gluten free pizza was clearly not a fresh base and tasted like cardboard. the regular pizza looked OK but after one mouthful, my partner noticed a huge COCKROACH on the plate, under his pizza base. It had obviously been on the plate when they put the pizza on it - I have no idea how they didn't notice and it makes me question how dirty the kitchen must be. We called back the server to say we were leaving, but offered to pay for the drinks we had already had. He quickly took the pizzas away (in hindsight we should have taken photos before reporting) and told us we could leave without paying anything. Later that night my partner was violently sick, I assume from his earlier experience here. Avoid at all costs. There are plenty of good restaurants in Ronda to choose from. I would give 0* if...

Really, really poor experience here. 4 pizzas ordered, waited over an hour for the first one, over an hour and a half before all pizzas arrived, all at totally at different times. Which is ok, but then the service was really poor, no response at all when we were ordering, not even an "ok" to show they even heard us speak, just walked off. The pizzas were ok, the place itself seemed lovely but they were clearly overwhelmed with orders, even with only a half full restaurant and it just resulted in a really poor...

It was a very quiet night in all of the restaurants in this particular street but we reserved a table nonetheless.

Service was friendly, quick and attentive, food (pizza & pasta) was good, even though the Pasta Carbonara could have done without the amount of sauce that came with it. Prices are fair and good value for money.

Maybe the staff should not have their family lounging around the place, it looks a bit unprofessional.
