Our party of 4 had supper there last night with a very poor outcome. The pizzas we had were not enjoyed but that maybe could have been based on our selections. What really led to our disappointment was 2 ladies in our party ordered sangrias. What was served was far from what a sangria should taste like and neither of the drinks was consumed. Both drinks had a very small amount drank from them and we told the waitress that the drinks were unacceptable. They initially said they would deduct 1 off the bill but that did not occur. Upon receiving the bill both drinks were still showing so we complained to the waitress. She returned with the manager who basically said “too bad” as that’s their recipe. When we voiced our displeasure concerning that response and said we would give them a negative review online, they finally reluctantly removed the 2 drinks from our bill. What a racket over a couple of small $ items. Very poor customer...

Run into another direction, it’s a tourist trap. Awful service. The pizza was really bad. And really expensive, we were in 6 Andalucían cities for two weeks. So many amazing restaurants all over that I can’t remember them all. But this restaurant I do for all the wrong reasons. If I can take something out of this experience, is the chance to let other travellers know, that this place is a scam. There is nothing Italian about it and the only way you would enjoy the service is if you like a big old Spaniard treating everyone like they are white trash. The pizza is a joke, we ate it because it was late and we where tired from discovering the city, but they managed to burn the doe and still make it smooshy. And clearly the ingredients were not fresh, the cheese was awful and what infuriated me the most is that they had the nerve to slightly be friendly at the end by the payment,...

Waiting time is not acceptable. Bad organisation, service/waiters (4) were often standing around while only one guy was responsible to make the pizza.

We arrived 20.30 in the half-full restaurant and it took 1h20min until we got our pizzas.

Teach one of the waiters how to prepare the dough and you would sell a.) more Pizza b.) people might be willing to order dessert. The waiters started putting the ingredients on the pizzas later, but only used one glove on one hand....

Plastic chairs without pillows & tables with paper blankets.

The taste and size were ok, nothing special.

Almost everything (Parmesan +1,5, Chili Oil +0,50, gluten-free dough +3) comes with extra price and the little details for the taste (spices in the tomato sauce or on the pizza: oregano?!? basil? thyme? Fresh pepper?) were also missing.

Would not recommend to go here unless you have extreme...

This pizzeria is one of a number of restaurants on Calle Nuevo and was open in September 2020 whilst others were shut up. That’s probably a sign of strong custom through hard times and no doubt down to their great pizzas. The menu has a lot of choice in pizzas but also in pasta and meat dishes. I saw a very big guy with a very big steak. For the pasta, you choose your shape/type and then the sauce/other ingredients. We wanted pizza and were spoilt for choice. You can see the pizza being prepared and then slid into the proper oven. They’re large and the chef doesn’t hold back on toppings. We probably could have had just the one between the two of us. This place is now ‘starred’ in Google maps because, as regular visitors to Ronda, we are bound to return.

Fantastic Italian food. Homemade, done in the Italian style, Davide made our favourite pizza since being in Italy. The pasta Amatriciana was delicious with a bit of spicy bite, just as we'd hoped. Our server, Ettore was fabulous. He spoke Spanish, Italian and English (and a few others too, I'm sure). We sipped handmade sangria and thoroughly enjoyed our visit, start to finish. We ended our meal with homemade Tiramisu. We weren't rushed at all. What a truly great night with amazing good and low to average prices. This ended up being a highlight of our visit to Ronda! It certainly was the very best of all the Italian restaurants, and was one of our very favourite meals in Ronda! Thank you to all the wonderful staff at IL FORNO A LEGNA! ❤️
