Perfect spot for a quick and flavorful lunch. We stopped here looking for a place with light lunch options, some tapas, some salads... and it wss perfect. It wasn't very hot outside but we still prefered sitting inside. There is plenty of space, different atmospheres, even a bar area downstairs and a very pretty restaurant part in the back. We had a couple of high-tops and the service was very quick. They took our order right away, and they stream-lined the food straight from the kitchen. They had good options of wine by the glass, cold beer in a couple of different sizes, they had a full bar with non-alcoholic options available, and plenty of soda choices as well. The menu had a bit of everything, traditional dishes in small portions, modern things like pulled pork in a little bowl, open face sandwiches (a very typical way to present tapas), and great salads. The reason was that we had some teenagers in our group who would have probably struggled to find something they like to eat in one of those cozy side street diners. NERO, on the other side, offered that menu which had things on it which our kids also loved to eat - mini falafel burgers, home made chicken nuggets, and so on. The quality of the food was solid, so was the service, and with teenage kids in the group we would go there again. Also, it is a nice location to spend...
Read moreRestaurant with interior and terrace on Plaza Mayor. Friendly staff. Menu is qr-code and in Spanish. Waiter Jesus spoke a little English. There are only a few shaded tables in the beginning of June. We tried the Azuelita Salmorejo with pieces of bacon, which is a cold soup Croquetes de queso contained more cheese types of which one was blue. The falafel dish was a nice change. For main course we had broken eggs with fries and chistorras, which are sausages. Too bad all the fat of the sausages stayed in the bowl and soaked the fries. And last we had some chicken nuffets with real pieces of chicken, not pieces pressed together. Fully...
