Entrance - Easy to find, right on the high street. It was busy in there so we were more inclined to going in.
Food - My partner ordered fish and chips and I ordered peri peri chicken breast with chips and rice.
We both really enjoyed our meals, it was a bit scary how fast the food came out and that there was a big microwave in the kitchen view for everyone to see. The food clearly isn’t fresh and I dread to think what a kitchen inspection would look like with the amount of different things they have on the menu.
Drinks - I ordered a white wine spritzer and my partner ordered a beer. It was decent although they don’t have a drinks menu which I found strange as you don’t really know what you’re paying for unless you ask them every drink price.
Decor - Very outdated, the usual Spanish restaurant look.
Atmosphere - Moderately busy, nothing too bad.
Cleanliness - Could’ve been cleaner, they have a hallway you go down to go toilet and it looks a mess. The kitchen didn’t look too tidy either. Could do with a good deep clean that’s for sure.
Cost - €30.50 for 2 meals and 2 drinks - not bad.
Customer service - The waiter looked rushed, every time we asked a question it felt like we was bothering him but other customers he was nice to. So not the best.
Overall - 5/10, nice food, however the customer service, cleanliness and getting a drinks menu...
Read moreOne star is too much for this place. Walked in, not even a smile or welcome to me and my daughters, in fact it seemed like we were not welcome. The male owner seemed to be overly friendly to other British people but not us. He didn’t even crack a smile. The wife was friendlier but it was definitely clear that despite being British our faces didn’t fit in this place. When my daughter went to pay the miserable old man of an owner didn’t even look up at her, his wife must have noticed and asked my daughter from across the restaurant if everything was ok. My daughter tipped the wife, and after this we were suddenly treated much friendlier.
As for the food it was disgusting. I ordered buffalo wings which tasted nothing like buffalo wings at all. The chicken still had so much hair on that I couldn’t eat it. My children had prawns and said they had a “funny” taste. The nachos were a good portion but drenched in what tasted like old mince. Nothing tasted fresh at all. In fact it tasted like it was old. I could smell the chefs armpits from my table which was not very pleasant to say the least. I had a bellyache from the evening through to the next day when I was...
Read moreVisited this restaurant twice. 1st time the service was good, the food was lovely and food arrived in a timely manner. I'd say probably the best nachos I've ever had and hubby's food was great too. 2nd time I had went in for breakfast with my daughter and partner, restaurant was close to full. The service was very slow, our order wasn't quite correct either and it seemed to take a lifetime for the food to come out. When I managed to get someone's attention for the bill this took forever to come also. I accept the place is busy but the wait doesn't merit the quality of food. We were very disappointed giving the fact on how good it was a few days prior so on that basis I would never have breakfast here again however I would for evening meal providing it wasn't too busy. Prices are...
